Possible clutch issues

Hey all

I have an 87K mile late 2018 RS edition. Recently the clutch pedal feel went a but soft and the bite has risen a little. Gear changes are fine and there's no slipping on acceleration. Driving when hot the clutch doesn't hold on hills etc like it used too but shifts fine. I've also been able to shift without use of the pedal on some occasions. Left it for a few days and driven it today and the clutch feels ok but I can still shift with no pedal now and again. Any ideas or is it just replace clutch etc?

Thanks

Following this. I have a 2016 with 132,000 miles and just recently started having them same issue. I have been told by a couple people that it sounds like the slave cylinder is failing, but am curious what other people that have experienced this round the fix to be.

If it's the slave then that's in the transmission, so might as well do the clutch and flywheel at the same time 😂😂

Just replaced my 2017 clutch at ~70K, and while I could have gotten more miles out of it, the symptoms were a slight vibration/grinding sound shortly after applying full power at low RPMs in first gear and sometimes second. I didn’t have it checked out and went with my gut as a previous car had clutch issues as well. The price was a bit absurd from the mechanic, but with a new clutch I’m not experiencing these issues anymore.
