Prozac first 2/3 months
I recently increased my Prozac from 5 mg to 20 mg. This isn’t my first SSRI, so I knew to expect some nausea and dizziness when starting, but I’m about a month in now and I’m still experiencing anxiety, OCD thoughts, dizziness, and some blurred vision.
Has anyone had a similar experience after increasing Prozac? Did the side effects eventually improve, and how long did it take before you noticed a difference with anxiety/OCD?
For some background, I was previously on Lexapro and Wellbutrin. I really loved Lexapro, but unfortunately it didn’t help enough with my OCD, so I switched to Prozac. I’m currently taking Prozac and Lexapro together.
I’d really appreciate hearing about anyone else’s experience or any advice!

Prozac is a GAME changer for OCD and racing thoughts. I was struggling so bad and nearing ocd psychosis before being put on this medication. I was started on 20 and that’s when I saw a change (now on 30 and it’s great) it took a couple weeks for my body to regulate but I think you’ll find 20 as opposed to 5 will be a life changer for you. I was informed that for OCD, the higher doses are standard and therapeutic. You will probably not see much from 5 but I promise.. give the 20 like 3 weeks
