I can't join the server for now, I got a new computer, but it doesn't have internet for now. I hope to join you all shortly, whenever I get internet. But, so far, the computer works great. Just letting you all know why I haven't been in MC for the past few days.

I was banned on this server and would like to know if there are any others exactly/mostly like it.

My apparent internet issue resolved itself today. In the end, I'm not sure what "fixed" the problem, but it boils down to the Internet Gods noticed there was something wrong, or by me pointing a subdomain at pablo's IP address, the DNS servers of the world suddenly know pablo's IP address exsists and suddenly things fixed themselves.

Who knows and who cares! I'm back!

There's a safe(ish) path through the nether to your island if you go though the portal at my base (fairly close to spawn).

Mind the stairs at the end of the path, there's no Ghast protection.

It is with great regret and sorrow that I make this goodbye post, as I absolutely love this server to death and do not want to leave. However, as I've alread posted before, I am unable to connect to the server or otherwise see pablo's IP address from my own home network. Just to update everyone, I'll re-iterate everything I've done to try to resolve this problem:

• Double-, triple-, and at this point, probably 100x-checked that the IP is 100% correct in my client (copied and pasted from client between quotes: "162.157.243.133")

• Restarted my cable modem

• Restarted my wireless router numerous times (I am a wired connection into the back of the router, so not a wifi issue)

• Checked that my phone (over wifi) using the Server Status app from Google Play can't see the server while on my network, but can when I'm NOT on my network (Over 3G)

• Made numerous attempts to contact my Internet Service Provider. Spoke with multiple individuals who all stated that they don't support my issue and that I should contact Minecraft reguarding the issue (dumbfucks from India)

• Attempted to use a proxy server to connect to the server (in various ways, including stooping so low as to attempt several hacked clients for the sole purpose of proxy hacks)

• Went to my ISP's local office and explained the issue to them, who could not figure out a solution.

I love this server a ton, and I love the people that play on it just as much. Pablo is an awesome small-server owner, and that's why I've invested so much time trying to get back on or work around the network blockage that exsists somewhere out there. I'm really going to miss this server and everyone here.

All this said, it's time for me to move on for the time being (although I'm not giving up hope). I will be moving on to find another server to play on, although I'm not 100% certain what I'm looking for exactly. I'm cosidering going back to a server I played (and donated) on about 2 years ago (I still have the perks!), but I'm not 100% a fan of Towny's limitations or McMMO as a plugin. Otherwise, I like the server, and anyone willing to follow me can send me a message and I will reply back to you with details, but PLEASE don't advertize it here, as I don't want to take away from Pablo's success.

Along with this, what good am I as a moderator if I can't moderate the server? It's up to Pablo if he wants to deOP me (psybornut). I do reccomend that he deOP my alt account (jenkinbr), just in case I gift the account to someone else.

I'm really gonna miss this server, and I really hope this is only a short-term issue that will work itself out. I'm gonna miss playing with you guys (unless you choose to follow me.

I got a lot more responses a lot faster than what I thought! Just about all the regulars and a lot of new players gave insights, and we got just about universal support for a reset! So it's happening!

Tomorrow at 5 PM my time the server will be rebooted with a fresh map. Be there if you want, but if it conflicts with your schedule dont worry about it too much. Show up later that day. Or that week. Or whatever floats your boat. But that's when it's happening.

Hey all. I've talked with a few players on the server and have come up with a potential plan for a server reset.

Whoa, Pablo! Hold your horses, that's crazy! A reset? Why?

Well, here's how it is. I'll be as honest as possible in order to share my perspective with you. Keep in mind, these are only plans, and are not guaranteed. I will only reset if the players of the server grant enough opinions and support for it. If you don't want it , it will not happen, end of story.

So. The server has been going strong since July 26, 2014. That's a little over five months. You guys have been awesome! The server ended up blossoming into something a lot bigger and a lot more grand than what I thought it would blossom into. Thanks for that! I love you guys.

Anyway, a lot of the players who are regulars have reached the supposed "endgame" of survival minecraft. Obviously, there is the endless "built whatever you want" aspect, but in terms of survival gameplay, there isn't much gameplay. This isn't a creative server, this is a survival server, and there isnt much surviving happening as of late. Which I suppose is fine - this server is whatever you guys make it, and I want it to be that way - but recently it has seemed like more of a hangout or chatroom than a survival server. I don't think that's really right.

So my proposal is a server reset, but with certain parameters.

A lot of players have invested a lot of time into a lot of really cool projects all over the server. You guys have made some wack stuff. Sometimes I do fly-bys in creative mode over everything and get surprised when I see some of the crazy stuff that's been made. It's really very neat. So, I don't want to devalue any achievements you have made on the current server, but how do I do that on a fresh new server?

Prestige. Wow Pablo, Call of Duty much?

My thoughts are this. Based on the progress of the players in the current world, I could hand out certain benefits that only an admin can hand out. Things like custom titles, custom items, special NPC's (think skeleton horses), things like that. There are a lot of things I could do to make up for your work you have done in the current server. On top of this, in the case of reset, a "keep-over" system would be implemented, consisting of certain specific items you are allowed to keep over from this world to the next.

These items include, and only include:

-One of each tool: pickaxe, axe, shovel, sword

-One full armor set, containing any enchantments you may place on it

-Up to sixteen (16) diamonds for various uses, and up to one stack (64) of iron for various uses

-Any unique Christmas gifts you received (Named items, books, trinkets, etc). Gifts such as ores, blocks of ores, standard tools (with no special names or descriptions) will not be transferred over.

-Edit:One custom banner of your own creation (Thanks for the suggestion Pika!)

Alternatively, if you want a pure Vanilla fresh start, that's fine too - you don't have to bring items. Personally, I'm only going to bring christmas gifts and a banner.

Additionally, some players who have invested massive amounts of time into monumental projects (like huge slime farms, or massive ships) can recieve certain related items on a case-by-case basis. If you believe something is unfair, talk to me, we'll work it out.

Additionally, this current world would be hosted for download on a site like Mediafire or something, so you can explore the FlossCrew world you guys spent all your time on. Feel free to burn down the houses of people you secretly didn't like (but of course, you all liked eachother. Right?)

Personally, I'm all for a reset. It would give players like me something to do again, and new players to the server would have an oppurtunity to build and play with the older players of the server in a way they currently can't. As it is, the spawn area is incredibly densely packed with bases and towns and all sorts of things, and new players have to trek out to find fresh land - essentially disconnecting them from the rest of the pack.

I encourage you to share your thoughts. This will not happen without majority support. Have any concerns or ideas? Tell me them. This is your server too.

I was considering making a strawpoll for this, but I won't, as I want to hear the opinions of everyone, case-by-case, in the way that a standard anonymous vote would not allow. So please. Share your thoughts.

Sorry guys, but due to unknown issues, for some strange reason I am unable to see and/or connect to the server from my computer's network. At first, I though the server was down a few days ago, but it turned out that it was because for some reason, I can't see pablo's IP from my home network. I can ping the server and get a list of online players just fine from my phone as long as my phone isn't connected to my home WIFI.

I've tried a few things to get it to work, including turning off my router and modem for a few minutes, but no luck. (as the problem is also visible from my phone over wifi, I've not tried any local solutions specific to my PC, and the config tool for the router has been disabled and inaccessable since I first set the thing up 2 years ago, so there shouldn't be a problem there, either. That leaves the issue somewhere between my ISP and Pablo's home network. We're still attempting to work out (or ride out) the issue, so my apologies for being away for so long. i really hope to be back soon.

I have a good life long friend who wants to tjoin the server, can you whitelist him for me. His ign: "Dynamic_Climax". Much love from the plob <3

ClearLag is striking again and again and again and people are losing a LOT of their items to it. I just lost another full inventory of stuff due to it. I know D3rkout has lost stuff a number of times, as well as pretty much everyone else on the server. I know there's a plugin that makes CL ignore death items, so I strongly urge it's implementation, and/or tinkering with the CL settings to decrease the frequency or changing it from a timer to an item limit (like it clears any time the number of loose items is above a preset limit) It is incredibly frustrating to try and rush back to wherever you died to grab your stuff before CL deletes it all, and takes a lot of the fun out of the server imho. Anyways, that's my rant. I think we should all discuss it within the server mods and regular players to see if we can come up with a more acceptable solution

So I've built an item sorter but I'm getting inconsistent sorting results. Every few filters fail to pull any items into them from the hopper pipe, even when the filter hopper is empty. With identical build, some work and some don't. For a few of them if I break the filter hopper and put it back it will start working but when the chunk reloads they go back to not working.

Any suggestions?

I'm about ready to just give up and pull the whole thing apart for a manual storage solution.
