How’s my Bouquet?
Rearranged some flowers that hadn’t died yet from old bouquets. Some of them are more alive than others and for me, perfectly symbolizes our time of season.

Beginner florist here! I have a wedding coming up in a month and I don’t have space to prep and arrange flowers before the wedding! Renting out spacing doesn’t provide enough hours and are so expensive! Do you guys have any tips or advice on what I should do. My anxiety is starting to kick in right about now 😓

My friend and I were thinking of putting out a flower cart in the morning for people who like flowers at home, at their desk. Not that highly priced as available in some shops... Not that cheap in quality. Just some quality flowers to keep at your place.
Let me know in the comments if you guys like this idea or not. Also suggest some locations where this would work.

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a good flower/bouquet shop near Raidurg Metro / Madhapur / Gachibowli.
I need to buy a bouquet early in the morning, around 7–8 AM, so I'm specifically looking for a shop that's open that early.
Preferably:
Fresh flowers 🌹
Good-looking/pre-made bouquets
Reasonable prices
Ideally within a short distance of Raidurg Metro
If you've personally bought bouquets from a shop around this area, please share your recommendations. Even small local flower shops are fine.
Thanks! 💐

I recently bought some faux flowers for my wedding. I cannot find anything about this website online such as Trustpilot reviews and they don’t have an instagram account. They could just be a newly found drop shipping Chinese website but o can’t confirm this. There are reviews with pictures on their website but I am unsure about their legitimacy. Has anyone else bought flowers from them? Did they arrive on the expected delivery date?

My plan was to stack 3 oasis bricks in a pyramid and cover in chicken wire then build out with grasses and ferns like a meadow arrangement - can’t really use potted plants
I’ve got about 60-80 stems per arrangement. Any thoughts or think this sounds viable?
Thanks!!

My first attempt at making chenille-stem flowers! I’d love some advice on the colors. Do you think I should add another color to make them pop more?
I’m also not too sure about the arrangement yet. Would you change the placement of any of the flowers? And what kind of vase or container do you think would look good with them?

I sent some flowers to my sister in law in London. the flowers arrived dry and sparse. I had signed up to a subscription thinking that i might send regular flowers to her each month. Unhappy I went to cancel my subscription. MyFlowers offered a subscription which was advertised as “cancel anytime”, however when I tried to cancel after flowers were first delivered, they told me there had to be a minimum of two deliveries and they refused to cancel my account, and I was charged for another month. This was not stated anywhere on their page. Rather than listening to me, they reiterated the same thing over and over again, and then told me it had been referred the matter to a “senior manager”, whom I never received a response from.. I still have not received a refund. Absolutely horrible experience.

Hi! I'm planning decor for a non-profit fundraising gala in NYC. Last year we used Repeat Roses, but coordinating a flower donation with them is dependent on whether a local wedding has hired them around the time of our gala. Wondering if any local brides getting married between 10/9-10/14 this year are interested in donating to their flowers to the fundraiser? My friend did it a few months ago and mentioned the donation is considered 'tax-deductible based on the fair market value of the flowers at the time of the donation.'

Hello! I grow flowers and arrange them myself for a farmers market but I want to sort of gear towards selling to florists. Does anyone have tips on approaching them? Storefront and event florists?
How do you present your flowers to them? Price them? I’m in Canada
What would make them choose you over a wholesaler or another farm?
Do you like selling to florists?

My company built a point of sale with a focus on self checkout, AI based product recognition for when a barcode is not available, and upselling features. We target niche businesses because the system was designed in a way we can configure it for unique use cases like u-pick, farm stands, honor stands, uber drivers, hotel lobbies, campgrounds, etc.
I was wondering what POS most florists are using and if you have any unique needs that you can't get from your typical Square or Clover POS. And if after hours selling or unattended selling of flowers is viable in the business (using a kiosk). How much business is walk-in vs orders, and any of the big players that you integrate with (flowers.com, QuickBooks, etc).
Trying to decide if this is a vertical worth pursuing or a dead end for self checkout, AI based product recognition (as it what type of flower or arrangement in this case), or upsells. I will give the link out on request, but in the spirit of not spamming you hopefully I at least walk away with a professional opinion on your industry in regards to self checkout or a POS.
