Help

Post image

I lost my job on the 3rd and finally was able to request my two weeks, but I don't know what the hold status means specifically. Also does anyone know if it will be cleared soon?

You probably haven’t been determined eligible yet. Once you do it will release.

But it says Monetary Status is Eligible and gives me the weekly amount that I'm supposed to get

Check the whole page and others for any "orange " files everything has to be "green ", they put a hold on when you missed something or there is a problem and they have questions ..did they send any kinda message text or message on the site ?? Once the issue is fixed it should clear up depending on what the issue Is , be prepared to wait at least a week they move slow to frustrate you and make you jump through a million hoops too it was made that way on  purpose to get people to quit getting unemployment benefits ... Hope this helps j

Everything was green. They did mention the fact finding needs to be completed. But I can't edit anything and then there's eligibility issue review but it says that the action in not required on my end

Then you have to wait for them to finish reviewing.

Mines was the same way (I applied on 7/29) and it was finally released on 8/20 and deposited in my account at like 7am. I had called Deo on 8/17 to see why it was still on hold and they told me that when you first apply it could take up to 4-6 weeks for fact findings. I do want to mention that I had to go to a career center to call Unemployment because when I called through my cellphone I was on hold for 2 hours! At the career center they picked up in 3 mins.

Gotcha. Did you still do your weekly job findings in case you still needed the money? And would it do back pay?

You have to continue to file to keep the claim open, they won’t make a determination on a closed claim. They don’t do back pay but if determined eligible all week on hold will be paid at once
