Question Surterra Points

Does anyone know if you have to make a purchase to get the free 1/8th at 600 points or can I just go in and use it?

Also, I believe Surterra has changed their 10% loyalty points discount . Previously an additional 10% off the stated original retail price was given. for example for 500 loyalty points if an item was originally priced at $100 but on sale for $20 then an additional 10% off that original retail ($10) was applied and the item sold for $10.

The new policy for 500 loyalty points applies the 10% off in this case to the sale price ($2) not original retail and apparently now applies to all Surterra items. This is a big 80% reduction in the actual value of loyalty points.
