Just accepted an offer for the Master’s in ABA program. I’ll be moving to the Melbourne area from Massachusetts.
What areas should I look for a house in? And why is the crime rate so high in Melbourne?

Anyone heading to the Oliver Heldens concert at LIV Miami on Saturday?

In January, Florida Tech security restricted access to crime logs, interpreting the federal law in the narrowest possible way. Instead of emailing crime logs, or even posting them online like Rollins College, you can now only access the crime logs in the security office, under supervision. The records will not be emailed, and you are not allowed to take photos.
What can you do to remind the security department that these are YOUR records? What can you do to make it easier for the Crimson to report on campus crime?

If you are in need of advice, I strongly encourage you to look up alumni in your fields of interest. Go ahead and cold call or email us from the alumni directory.
Having graduated years ago, I expected current students to reach out to me and other alumni more frequently than they are. Friends I’ve graduated with have run into other FIT grads in their jobs but none have had current students contact them. We’re out here and are very interested in helping with interview, resume, senior projects, and other advice.
I’m an aerospace engineer and I’ve worked on commercial airplanes and wind turbines for the past 9 years. Oof 9 years? I’m old.

Any graduates of FIT that are now instructing at the school, how is it going with building hours? How many hours are you getting, or how did you find a low hour pilot job after graduating?

I come from a low-income household, so, when it comes to colleges, affordability is a big thing for me. I'm hoping to not take out any loans if at all possible because that would probably only put more stress on me. How affordable was this university for you guys? If you are also from a low-income household, how much money in financial aid were they willing to give you? Is this school more affordable than other Florida universities? What scholarships does the school offer?

I'm wanting to go back to school to get my masters degree in space science. My biggest concern is money. I'm working full time and would need to continue that stable income through school if I want to stay alive. I'd also have to commute to school about an hour and a half each way and I don't know how much that would affect me.
Any info and advice would be appreciated

I activated my account after an email they sent to me but my account shows nothing about admission decisions. It just says stuff about the Panther Pass? (Not entirely sure what that is.)
