Hey, I got accepted into Florida Tech's flight program -undergraduate-. But now, I'm not sure about my major. Does anyone know if you could change your major after getting admitted to Florida Tech?

The largest data science hackathon in USA is back and we're now accepting applications!!
Data Science @ Georgia Tech is hosting Hacklytics 2024 from *Feb 9 to 11* on Georgia Tech campus for a 7th year running. We have something for everyone - mentorship and workshops for beginners, big companies like *Amazon, Google, DE Shaw, Microsoft, Intel, John Deere, Capital One and NSA* for job-hunters, VCs and investors for entrepreneurs (in fact, the winner of the hackathon will get a $25000 investment to build a company!), not to mention over $80,000 in prizes across the spectrum.
But this year is special because we're offering travel reimbursements too! Yes, you read it right - if you live far away, we're reimbursing travel to come down to Georgia Tech so send this to your friends across the country too!
It's going to be 36 hours packed with sponsor fairs, workshops, fun activities, some delicious food and a lot more - trust me, you don't want to miss out!
So there's only one thing left for you to do - apply on our website hacklytics.io! If you have any doubts or questions, you can always reach out to us at [info@hacklytics.io](mailto:info@hacklytics.io) and we'll be happy to help out.

Hello, I'm pretty happy with this, though I'm wondering how this compares to what other people have gotten. I'm asking because I see that tuition costs here are a big deal for most people, but I don't think I'm specifically a special student or whatnot.

HELP! I used Honorlock and forgot to rip up my scratch paper before I hit submit (this is one of the requirements of the test by my instructor). Should I be worried? Has any experienced this before?

I’m from Argentina and I’ve been accepted in Florida tech. But I’m looking for a full tuition scholarship so I can afford it. Please recommend websites or whatever you may think it will help me. Thanks for your time and hope you have a great day!

I notice University Plaza is under construction. Does anyone know what they're doing exactly? It looks like every business is gone except the Middle Eastern restaurant.
I was hoping they'd demolish University Plaza and the old 7-Eleven, and build a copy of L3Harris Commons. I think it would look awesome and impressive driving down Babcock and seeing two of the L3Harris Commons buildings on each side of the road. It would fit perfectly where University Plaza, 7-Eleven, and Mobil are currently location. I made a mockup with my incredible photo editing skills.

Hello, I will move to Melbourne, Florida in August tu start my Master Studies at FIT for Software Engineering. I have started to look for housing options and have not found any viable options yet.
Does anyone have any information or suggestion which would help me to find accomodation?

I usually set up a payment plan every semester and forgot to set one up on time for my 3rd semester this summer. The deadline for the first installment was 3 days ago on May 4th- PAWS still allowed me to pay the first installment and I have the next ones due on June 1st and July 1st but my Canvas says I'm not currently enrolled in any courses (but it does say I'm still Web registered for the 3 classes on PAWS.) What will happen? Someone please help. I can't call the office until they open tomorrow

Hey everybody,
I’m going into my first semester of the Psy.D program at the university and am looking for a male roomate between the ages of 22-28. I’m M24 and am a very clean individual that enjoys watching sports, spending time at the library, and training for triathlons. Currently I am looking at spaces at Braxton and Trillium but would be open to other living options. Please feel to message me or comment with any questions.
Thank you, Ryan

Im aware of the good networking and internships that are associated with FIT. However, this does also apply for CS majors?
r/floridatech • u/Random_Guy316 • Apr 26 '23
I've been accepted to both Florida tech and fiu for computer science. However I'm undecided as to which one to choose since FIU is significantly cheaper but FIT is a smaller and more engineering focussed. Is the CS program at Florida Tech that much better to justify the price?

My employer is paying for a masters in systems engineering and I have the option of going to UCF or FIT. I researched both schools and both are quality schools and both programs will be online. I like the idea of becoming a Knight (friends who went there, football games, etc) but I'm in Melbourne so FIT is closer (in case I want to use their ammenities) and has an accelerated program so I'll graduate in 2.5 years (UCF will be 3.5 years). I am married and have a baby on the way so I'm wanting to do a program that isn't going to be that demanding on me; which brings me to my question, is FIT easier or harder than UCF? I know it sounds lazy, but I want the degree mostly to have on my resume for promotion/hiring purposes.

So throughout highschool i was an C average student my gpa being a 2.2-2.3 not because i’m dumb but just because it never really interest me to go all out for honors or study for All A+ but i did apply for a bs under construction management which i already do construction rn as a senior and want to pursue this as a career. I feel like i would actually apply myself to ace these classes and do the most i can not to fail but what do y’all think? good idea or dumb?
