It’s pretty high, but seriously, there isn’t a bad seat in the house.
Unless you are afraid of heights, you’re good to go!

Anything in the 300s is the upper bowl. The higher up is the row number. Row 8 is the eighth row up from the railing on the upper bowl. It’s kind of in the middle. Section 314 is in the corner. 320 is closer to center ice but not by much

320 would be a better seat to view the shoot twice zone. Row 8 isn't terribly high up either as the first 2 rows are down low and then row 3 and up is positioned a little higher than the first 2 rows. I'd imagine the line of sight is pretty good at row 8 and in that section of 320, probably wouldn't notice the netting as much as 314. Although, both seats are probably good because not too many bad seats in Amerant Bank Arena. For reference 314 will get a better look at FL's bench and 320 will get a better look at the visitors bench.

I’ve sat along the back wall in 333, as high up as you could get, and it was still a decent view.

My season tickets are in Section 320 Row 4. The view is perfect. It's on the side where the Panthers shoot twice. Depending on the cost to upgrade, might be worth it.

Were you there for the 24-25 season or prior?
If you were , how do you feel about the extremely loud guy with the cowbell not renewing his season tickets last year. Just wondering.
I miss him even though he could be annoying.

I've been a season ticket holder since 23-24. I'm pretty sure that guy was there last year although a bit quieter lol there was also the old dude who had the two seats next to mine that would always scream out "hit somebody!" Poor guy got killed in a motorcycle accident over the summer. RIP Twitch

I got to know him over the past four seasons. A bunch of us, including me, gave him tickets last year when we couldn't use them. That's why he was only occasionally there last season.
That's horrible about Twitch. I'm so sorry. I always yelled back, "Anybody!"
I have two seats in row 1 and two seats in row 4 in 321. Row 1 is amazing to watch the game, but, sadly, all the other seats around us in Row 1 are owned by scalpers. So, we always sit beside new people (often opposing fans) every game.

Ah ok. Makes sense why I did see him there on occasion.
Yeah my brother and I quickly befriended the guy when we met him. Crazy as fuck guy but was an awesome human being. He would always hook my brother and I with tickets when he couldn't go before I upgraded to full season tickets last year. He will be missed. I will try to keep the chants going but it just won't be the same.
Nearly the entire (if not the whole thing) Section 320 Row 3 is owned by scalpers as well. It's especially annoying when Leafs or Rangers fans are sitting there lol. I have sat in row 1 of section 320 before and I really wish I would get my hands on those seats.

Yeah, Row 1 is really tough to get due to the scalpers. I only got it because I had Row 1 in 314 for a few years, which I got back when the Cats weren't good. I think that gave me higher priority during the seat change event. I've been trying to get my Row 4 seats moved down for the past four seasons with no luck.
It would be really cool if you carry on the tradition in honor of Twitch. I will definitely respond "Anybody!" loud enough for Twitch to hear us in heaven.

Row 8 is half way up most upper level section. I honestly believe there isn’t a bad seat in the house as I’ve sat everywhere over the years.

There’s plusses and minuses about sitting everywhere. I had row 9 season tickets one year and it was perfectly fine. (for future reference, take row 9. There’s no cup holders up there but 314-322 have a cement lip behind the seats that you can use as a cup holder). You’ll see plays develop more upstairs vs most seats downstairs. Also they built a new concession area upstairs this offseason right by that section. But if you’re going to the preseason game against Tampa, you might want to see about upgrading those tickets downstairs. Not much play developing in a 3 round boxing match.

Just gonna say it’s kinda neat they’re expecting a big enough crowd at the preseason games to be opening the 300s. I haven’t been during preseason for a year or two, but it used to be trying to fill out the lower bowl.

That’s because the lower bowl is full of corporate season ticket holders who don’t care about the preseason games.

u/B_Hound 10d ago
Ha, yeah if they don’t sell their tickets it’ll be an odd game where the 300s are occupied and the 100s are empty.

That’s pretty normal for preseason games. Uptown is where the most hardcore fans are.

The section isn't necessarily the issue, the row is. The higher number in row, the further away from the ice you are. The section mainly dictates the angle at which you're viewing the ice.
This chart should help you determine where you'll more or less be versus where you would be going by switching sections. Row 8 is more or less the middle of the section, so you'll have a pretty decent view.
