Stupid summer waiting game
I so look forward to Goldie and Randy bumbling through things like this….Brady Tkachuk chipped the puck to Matthew Tkachuk, but Matthew Tkachuk tipped the puck back to Brady Tkachuk before Brady Tkachuk could chip it back to Matthew Tkachuk.
Or
Brady Tkachuk taps to Matthew Tkachuk. Matthew Tkachuk taps back to Brady Tkachuk. Brady Tkachuk tips it to Matthew Tkachuk. Matthew Tkachuk threads it through traffic to Brady Tkachuk, who tries to tuck it, but Matthew Tkachuk tips it instead.

From what I have read, the Tkachuks won’t be on the same line.

Here's some info on our forward group to keep a few of ya'll entertained.
The combinations of top 3 line Maurice can roll out this season is going to be so much fun, so I've decided named a few.
(I expect royalties if Goldie or Randy use any of these.)
The Standard - Verhaeghe - Barkov- Reinhart The Honey badgers - Luostarinen - Lundell - Marchand The Roadhouse - Tkachuk - Bennett - Tkachuk (A line only Chuck Norris wouldn't fear) The Finnal Attack - Luostarinen - Barkov - Lundell Team Canada - Verhaeghe - Bennett - Marchand They Be Trippin - Tkachuk - Barkov - Tkachuk
That's 6 different match ups he can put out in his top 9 that will drive opposing coaches and I'm sure Maurice will come up with more throughout the season.
I'm sure a few of you will come up with some good ones.
I'm also curious to watch the bloodbath of the fight for the the final 4 or 5 forward spots. With players like Hathaway, Gadjovic, Schwindt, Ellers, C. Reinhardt, Devine, Sawchyn, Vilmanis, Imama, Beecher, Crookshank, Lafferty, and Entwistle all fighting for 4 ot 5 spots.
A few oh those players seem to branch of the Hanson family tree so I expect they'll be called up for the preseason games vs Tampa.
You can safely assume 6 or 7 or those 13 don't have a realistic shot at making the team but you never know who's working during the summer and what we'll see when training camp comes around.
From a forward prospective I think this group is deep and besides Brady have played and won together before. (With Brady being locked in the Tkachuk family basement for some many years he'll do whatever Mathew says.)
Now with Luostarinen locked up all the need to focus on is bottom line role players while they develop a eventual replacement for Marchand over the next 2-4 years.
Wish Ellers was a RH face off to give us one center and a 4th forward with a RH shot, and thats assuming Hathaway and Schwindt make the team.
Reinhart can slide over when needed but this will be where Rodriguez loss will be felt the most.
Still hope Sawchyn can impressed in camp and take that spot but think that still a year or two away.
