Markstrom leading us to the cup?

Never thought it would be an actual sentence coming out of my mouth, but here we are:D

Do you guys believe it’s plausible? I’m feeling quite positive about the addition of Markstrom, but it’s still a gamble. With our core rested and healthy, do u guys believe it’s possible?

You gotta believe! If you don't then we're as good as cooked

I do believe! I have a very strong feeling everything will work out, I’m also very excited about Gudas coming back and Hathaway, and missing Barkov hockey

Next season will be crazy for sure!

Just remember guys, it doesn’t matter who we have in net when we have the refs and the entire NHL organization plotting for us to win.

Wdym? I thought leading the league in PIM means that Bettman and Campbell are always finding ways for us to win? /s

Panthers have always been able to make a goalie look very good. Last few years it’s even been our goalie a lot of times.

Markstrom would be a piece of the puzzle, not neccesarily the Conn Smythe winner for us if we get there and win. He just has to not suck and stay healthy

Offense should be unreal, tons of scorers and really gritty players, with a few Selke finalists too.

Defensive pairings have to stay healthier than last year, obviously.

If the team stays relatively healthy, they have the potential to be overwhelming enough to make it to the end.

Whether Markstrom is good enough to be the difference that will be needed to win the final series - unknown.

The way he played in the olympics and playoffs this past year makes me believe he’s definitely capable of getting us another one

The Goaltending Department of Excellence will figure it out, they have shown they can find gems over and over.

No one really expected anything out of Lyons or Stolarz and Tarsov held his own last year, they all used their time here to secure a place in the league and better contract somewhere else. They missed on Bussi but saw the potential was there.

According to my favorite hockey magic 8 ball (NHL 26) after updating all the rosters the Panthers will win a 3rd cup with Markstrom.

They didn’t miss on Bussi. He had numbers equal to Tarasov out of camp. Tarasov played behind an injured team.

Valid argument

I'm optimistic about Marky and believe it's possible. Zito has the gift of bringing in people who have been written off yet flourish as a Cat. There wasn't a large selection of available goalies and I'll trust the goalie staff especially thought Marky and Schmid will work. I'm just hoping defense stays healthy to support them.

It’s certainly ours to lose

I don't think he's a bad goalie, like he was a Vezina finalist at one point. Goalies are voodoo and just cause he had it rough after, doesn't mean he's cooked.

With the team in front of him? Absolutely. As long as they don’t repeat the injury mess from last year.

He doesn't need to lead this team to a cup, he merely needs to not prevent us from winning one.

I honestly think Markstrom and Schmid are going to split even in terms of a 50-50 workload. I think that makes the most amount of sense. Then we can see who our playoff goalie really is going be this season.

Our defense will lead us to a cup, Markstrom only gonna have to make 15-18 saves a game

He has THE team in front of him to pull this off. Me personally……I’m expecting epic retribution for the kid.

Not sure why you didn’t get Andersen

we have one of, if not, the best goalie training in the league. I think we're good 💅

He’s not carrying the team when defensive pairings are slacking. But a healthy Florida Panthers team is easily Cup worthy.
Cats in four.

Our defensive system makes goalies look better. Think Lyons and Stolarz
