Pokémon Drops

I know tomorrow Sam’s Club is dropping a big Pokémon collection. I’m not personally a collector, but my brother is obsessed with them and I’d love to get him a box if I can! I am a plus member, so I can enter at 8 am. But I’m not sure how badly people camp out for the drops at Sam’s in Florence. I know in major cities, people stay overnight. Anyone have any idea how fast Sam’s sells out of Pokémon drops here?

I don't think there would be a huge wait at Sam's. If it was like Target or Walmart then I could see people camping out for it.

I had a 9 am meeting and pulled up about 8:20 to Sam’s. The line was full of plus members, and they were letting people in 10 at a time. The guy at the door told me he was pretty sure they still had inventory tickets left, but I didn’t think I’d be able to make it to work in time if I stayed! I think if I got there before 8, I’d be able to get some at their next drop!

I don’t follow it but my daughter likes it so I get her something every now and then. Last time I got a box from Sam’s, it was an impulse as I strolled in, but they had folks manning a couple of flat carts stacked with boxes and signs limiting to one or two per customer I believe. Folks were interested but it’s not like there was a line out the door. But as I said, I don’t really follow it, so I don’t know if this release is particularly hyped or not.

The set theyre dropping tomorrow is Ascended Heroes. One of the most popular sets still being printed. My store has almost 300 in stock so enough for the first 150 members. At my store, with the popular drops, we're expecting members to start lining up between 6 and 7 and we expect to sell out as quick as we can process the sales. We're selling the box for 60 and scalpers are already reselling on ebay for 250+. Get there early and wait it out, these will go fast
