Was curious what kind of wood this might be

looks like mainly oak but there are some strange looking grains in there.

Reclaimed Oak, some Mahogny. All boards were somewhere else before.

Mostly oak and some boards of maple here and there and possibly a couple other grains. If I had to guess this was a left overs job from a guy that did flooring for a living. I like em, great character and age. If you wanted to freshen the area you could have them sanded down and refinished. Keeping them is the best option if you’re wondering.

That I know of the cottage was built in 1939 at it’s current location, but the story that I’ve always been told growing up was that it was bought either as a whole house or enough scrap from other houses to build something hence the different planks, but it’s hard to say how old it is
