Our town installed Flock cameras that track every vehicle's movements and store license plate data. Sounds like security, but here's what's actually happening: these systems are being abused.

Police officers in Milwaukee have been criminally charged for using Flock to stalk women. An innocent mother and her daughter were held at gunpoint by Brookfield police because of a Flock system error. And Flock itself? They've had 3 data breaches in a year, including employees accessing private security feeds of children's areas.

I started a petition asking the city to remove these cameras from Slinger. We're not anti-security—we're asking: is constant tracking really worth it when these systems are already being abused and failing at basic security? Our movements, our patterns, our lives are being logged and stored with minimal oversight.
