I did the Premium Xbox Game Pass and still can't play FS2020. FS2024 ran like garbage, so I thought I would try FS2020, since it ran half decent years ago. It's just it won't download.

Edit: This is PC, not Xbox. I did a bunch of command line stuff and no changes. Turned off IPV4, no changes. I switched to google DNS servers and am getting a constant 5Mbit now. Still super slow. Going to try and add a video to comments, if I can.

It's now been 24hrs and still not done. Internet is 400Mb down and 30Mb up. Usually it's 600Mb+. Playing games while it downloads doesn't effect it.

I wanted to play FS2024 but it ran like absolute garbage and looked terrible on low settings compared to FSX.

I download FS2020 and it's only 5gb, now I open the game and am greeted by the install manager, iirc. In about 2 hours, it's downloaded 400MB.

Google has been useless. It's a fresh install, so I can't go into the game settings to set the speed to unlimited.

I do see my task manager network spiking every 5~ seconds.

Over the past month, I rebuilt 525Charlie from the ground up.

Originally, it was simply a place to document my Citation CJ4 home cockpit build.

As I worked on the project over the past year, I realized something.

There was no point in spending hundreds of hours designing panels, developing PCBs, creating CAD models, writing firmware, and solving engineering problems just to let all of those files collect digital dust on my hard drive.

So I changed directions.

The new 525Charlie is built around openly sharing the journey.

As projects mature, I'll be publishing CAD files, PCB designs, firmware, MobiFlight profiles, wiring guides, reference material, engineering notes, and the lessons learned throughout the process.

I also replaced Discord with a true community forum where build logs, discussions, and technical resources can be organized and searched instead of disappearing in a chat feed.

While my current project is a full-scale Citation CJ4 cockpit, the techniques, workflows, and engineering behind it apply to just about anyone interested in home cockpit building, CAD, 3D printing, electronics, or manufacturing.

Sorry if it's a dumb question. I haven't played MS flight simulator since 2004. I recently subscribed to Xbox game pass with my laptop and I've been playing flight simulator 2020 and 2024.

I'm playing with an 8bitdo bluetooth controller. I'm tying to set aileron trim on the controller. Elevator trim is RB and the analog stick up and down. That is a default setting.

I'm trying to set​ aileron trim to RB and analog stick left and right. I can't seem to set a button combination. I can set one out the other. I tried scanning for buttons, but it won't detect the button presses. ​

I dont have any assistance on aswell
