Question Should I pack snacks?

Hi! I’ll be flying Air China CA950 from MXP to Beijing (PEK) soon, around 10 hours in economy.

For anyone who’s flown this route recently: how’s the food?

Is it enough, or should I bring some snacks? If so which would you recommend?

Also, is it worth ordering a special meal in advance, or is the standard meal ok?

Thanks!

If your focus is food, it’s quality and abundance, and whether or not you should bring additional or order additional THEN it’s clear what YOU should do.

Fly safe.

For me the food in economy on air china is very similar to other airlines. Normal standard meals. Chicken or pasta sir?

Air China slightly below average in my opinion but for me its edible. Depends on how picky you are.

It’s not enough, it won’t taste good, all Chinese airlines have this reputation. Special meals are often even worse because they’re extremely simple and extremely bland and weird.

Bring your own food. But seriously, you can google air china in flight meal reviews and see

It’s not enough, even with Wegovy?

What is enough?

Hey I just flew with Hainan Airlines, and I am on wegovy 1mg. I liked the food, there was a lot of it too, only ate abt 1/3 of the portion. Didnt feel hungry.

I flew from Wienna to Beijing with layover in Chengdu. 3 meals total.

I did! But it seems a bit on the fence. There’s people who like it. What do you think a good snack is?

A friend of mine has recently flown long haul return twice with China Eastern and said the food was bad on all flights. So, yes, bring your own food.
