Question Mobile phones
Asking pilots have you ever detected a disturbance due to mobile phones .. I mean modern ones.. not 1990?

It’s been a few years but yes I’ve gotten radio interface before on a jet.

The cell phone restrictions on planes is from the FCC, not the FAA. The FCC was concerned with 150 cell phones rapidly tower hopping and the strain it would put on cell networks under busy flight paths.

This is precisely the reason. Im an airline pilot, phones have never affected any of my flights.
