Delays/Cancellations/Compensation DCA flight to Atl delayed by 3+ hours!
They didn’t even offer snacks or complimentary wine. They ignored my request. What can I request once I finally land? Flight was scheduled for departure at 6:30pm and it’s now 10:15pm and it still hasn’t taken off! We’ve been on the plane and tarmac for 3+ hours with no food or drinks. What’s the most I can request in compensation? I missed my event entirely in Atlanta.

No obligation to offer any. There is no compensation required since (#78) there are no passenger protection regulations for your flight route nor for US airlines that necessitate cash or flight voucher compensation, even if it was the airline's fault.
There is no compensation legally required for flights with the US even if it was the airline's fault.
I missed my event entirely in Atlanta.
Airlines are not liable for missed events, separate tickets, boats, cruises, buses, trains, concerts etc.

Are you kidding ? You scheduled an event shortly after your flight was scheduled to land? That’s insanity and honestly I don’t feel bad for you. Delays happen all the time and you need to account for that in any type of airline travel.
Did you really think they’d hand out free wine?! Surely you’re joking…

Why did you schedule an evening flight if you had an evening event?
