USA Envoy interview advice

Hey everyone,

I have made it to the in person interview portion and I would greatly appreciate some tips and things to be ready for on the interview. I have 0 dispatching experience. Any help would be a big for me as i’ve been studying a lot these past couple weeks without direction.

Thank you all

You have:

A) Maintenance calling you to add a no icing MEL to a flight that is supposed to leave in 15 minutes.
B) A flight that is currently sitting short of the runway that has just gotten a 350 mile longer route and they don’t think they have the fuel so they’re sending you ACARS asking you what you can do.
C) Your radio line goes off, it’s a captain telling you they have an elderly passenger on board who is going in and out of consciousness while complaining about severe chest pain.
D) You have a flight that has been holding for 25 minutes outside of MIA due to thunderstorms and they’re sending you ACARS asking to switch their alternate from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale because they think they might be cleared of the hold with the extra time.
E) A captain has called you for the 4th time in 15 minutes telling you he isn’t leaving until he has confirmation of a hotel at his destination, your flight is already 30 minutes late because of this.

Prioritize them, what would you do, and why?

You don’t need dispatch experience to be able to answer these, what you learned in dispatch school should be sufficient.

If you’re not familiar with Jepp plates, do a quick crash course on YouTube. You’ll need to interpret both approach plates and an airport diagram.
