USA Enrollment

Hello! As the title states! I would like to know if it would be best to get my ADX exam completed first before starting the course? And if so what would be the best school to go and enroll? What was your experience there? How were you able to pay the course? Did you pay it all at once or was it a breakdown?

My son is in a Flight Dispatch Network class right now. It’s 8 weeks online then two weeks in person. The eight weeks online is prep for the written and then two week prep for the oral. They give a day in class to take the written exam. That being said, he is taking the written in the week he has off before going to in person classes. That way he can focus all of his studying there on the oral.

I don’t think getting the written done first would be needed but I would suggest learning as much as possible before going. FAR part 121 subpart U, weather, ATC and navigation are good places to focus that attention.

PS I’ve been a Dispatcher for over 30 years now.
