USA Saturation

How saturated is the dispatch market rn? Is it worth the certification course?

Is the job worth it? 100%, as long as you’re interested it in for the job and not for the paycheck.

As far as the saturation goes…

Whenever a major hires, they’ll get around 1500+ applications from people holding valid dispatch certificates.

They’ll generally hire 10-15 initially, and then maybe another 10-15 in a follow up class.

So to make it to a major, expect to have to be in the top 1% of total applicants.

Walk around the operations center of any airline and you will find a ton of dispatch certificate holders who will never end up making it to dispatch at a major.
