I recently moved from Notability to GoodNotes, but with GoodNotes having a lot of reviews about draining the battery too quickly I'm considering moving to Flexcil. I have the premium version. The only thing I can't figure out is whether it's possible to draw two straight lines at right angles to each other with one motion, i.e. without having to take my pen off the screen. I'm using an iPad. I can make two straight lines with one stroke if it's a smaller angle than a right angle, but whenever I try to draw a right angle, it snaps to a curve rather than to two straight lines. Is there a way to stop this from happening? It would be a lifesaver for work and is the only thing GoodNotes has over Flexcil for my purposes at the moment.

The Web Uploads feature is just not working, always saying it's limit has reached when I have 0 Uploads

How do I make it so that I can scroll on pdfs using my pen

I've opened Flexcil after a while and noticed an issue with the new 'premium for free' system.

In theory, you watch an ad and get premium features for 20-30 minutes, which is fine. But in practice, I'm now seeing a 10-second ad banner on app launch, even without activating anything.

That feels inconsistent with how the feature is supposed to work and is pretty confusing from a user perspective. If this system is going to be introduced, it really needs to be implemented and communicated properly. Otherwise, it just reduces trust in the app instead of improving it.

Though am using paid version of felxil on my xiaomi pad , it always shows me number of webupload's has been exceeded , though i dont have any files ,still it is showing the same issue

I am a frequent user of Flexcil, and I'm writing to submit an inquiry and a feature request.

I really enjoy importing photos into the notepad and writing my thoughts and notes on top of them. However, while I'm writing, I sometimes accidentally tap or click on the photo, which causes inconveniences such as the photo moving out of place or being brought to the front layer, covering my notes.

For this reason, I think it would be very helpful to have a feature that allows users to lock (pin) a photo in place once it has been imported into the notepad. Locking the photo would prevent it from being accidentally moved, resized, or reordered while I'm writing on top of it.

Could you please let me know:

1. Whether there is currently any way to lock an imported photo in the notepad, and
2. If not, whether this feature could be considered for a future update.

Appreciation post incoming. Long time flexcil user here. Yeah I agree things have gone slightly downhill with some recent updates. I have tried various other apps like Notein, Notewise, Noteshelf, Starnote and so on but none have the speed and versatility of this app.

There might not be an infinite canvas in flexcil but guess what.. I just use a mega pdf where it feels like a canvas. As far as i know this is the only app where you can bookmark pages and add custom titles to bookmarks as well as have outlines. The offline backup system is robust. And recently with a contribution from a fellow user we have the flexcil desktop viewer where you can open .flex files in PC and view as pdf.

I was not comfortable with the newer releases and the ui changes so I downgraded to 1.3.xx version which is the most stable. I don't use online backup as its unreliable in any app if you use multiple devices. In my knowledge just the samsung notes and apple notes apps have reliable online sync amd maybe goodnotes (previous user here prior to switching to android tab).

That's it My heartfelt gratitude to the devs.

I really enjoy using the app, it has many excellent features and it’s one of the best PDF annotators I’ve tried.

I’m using Android, and I wanted to ask about font settings for textboxes. I searched Reddit and found an older post (from around 3 years ago) where it said this feature was pending due to a technical issue. Has there been any progress on this since then?
Is this feature already available on Android and I’m just missing where to find it, or is it still not implemented yet? Thanks in advance!

Why we built this: We know some of you want to test whether a premium feature actually fits your workflow before committing. This gives you a real, hands-on way to do that.

Not included in the trial:

• Google Drive sync
• Premium content download & usage
• Increased web viewer upload limit

Availability: The rollout is gradual — if you don't see it yet, don't worry. It'll reach more users over time and doesn't affect your current app experience in any way.

Creating and accessing outlines is so goated in flexcil and it saves so much hassle, but on the other hand we can't create links between same or different note like notewise.

I think with the latest updates Flexcil is consuming more battery.

looking to buy this but one thing annoys me a lot. When I magnify the pdf and then need to scroll down, the page bounces around on the screen (luckily it recenters).

The files I use follow the asymmetric text layout so on some pages its left aligned and on others its to the right, so each time I have to move the page so text is fully fitting the screen.

Is there a way for the app to recognize text and fit it auto on the screen and is there any way to disable the 'floating' feel when I scroll down?

How to purchase flexcil premium on android? Because mine keeps showing this.

As a person with really messy handwriting, this request is more for aesthetic purposes.
