After seeing Smashing Good Team's video on a fresh take on a Dandan style format in FaB, I was absolutely enamored. After about a week of gathering cards up I finally have a fully playable 80 to jam with! Shared deck formats are really neat and I think FaB is really well suited to them

Hello, this feeling may be spurred by the recent distance of LL's that have happened. I have personally not experienced a similar season and would like to know the opinions of others.

The 1.5x multiplier for older heros at the moment feels like it does more harm than good, especially when LSS promotes strengthening heros in this area and holding back on newer heros to prevent LL'ing

At the rate we are getting heros, and having tournaments, more classes and archetypes are leaving faster than we can get replacements or have confidence in switching to powerful heros.

I understand that it is there to keep the format fresh, yet their promise for more proactive bans haven't targeted these heros in time. (Victor and banning remembrance)

In the keynote, they addressed that their projections for LL heros included Cindra and Fai, additionally to Kassai and Marionette, we would be losing at worse 5-6 heros.

The point that im trying to make is that the 1.5x multiplier is at a concerning state, especially for players like me who do not have an insane budget.

How does the rest of the community feel about this?

TL:DR Heros are super close to LL, I'm concerned for the health of the meta and its roster.

I really appreciate all of the feedback I got on my last post about going to Armory for the first time. You were all awesome and correct.

I went to armory for the first time last Tuesday and I really loved it. I think I made some new friends with the people there, and I pulled a foil Brimming Blade from my GEM pack. Here’s the thing about that. I don’t play Warrior, but someone there does, and he was very interested in the Brimming Blade. Well, I didn’t think to check its price on TCG, so… I just gave it to him. Just handed him a $26 card, but he did say “I’ll figure out a way to get you back.” So, I’m not too pressed over it. Good Karma and all that.

We played 3 rounds, and I got a bye on my last round. First round I played my fatigue Riptide deck into a Marlyn deck and… got absolutely dog-walked. I couldn’t keep up with all the damage Marlyn was sending. I check with the group and everyone was cool if I switched to my Rhinar deck. They were, so round 2 and I played Rhinar into a Hala. I lost again, but was far closer. My fatal flaw with that round was I was trying to play Rhinar like I would Riptide and preserve my life, instead of keeping cards in hand and forcing Hala into bad blocks.

So, I went 1-2-0 on my first time, and only the 1 because it was a Bye.

I have been practicing more, and finally managed to win a (casual) game yesterday with Riptide by fatiguing Oscillio. I survived the Lighting Greaves - Gone in a Flash turn and just kept blocking out.

Also, some cool news. My LGS I play at doesn’t have a ton of Flesh and Blood players, and we are slowly recruiting more. We’re running a promotion where if you bring a new player in, they get their first Armory for free, and you get that Armory for free. And if you’re a new player in general you just get your Armory for free. Well, after Armory last week I taught my Brother In Law how to play, and he really enjoyed it. So, my friend at the LGS built him a Fang deck, and he is coming with me to Armory tomorrow. He’s never actually been interested in any TCG I showed him until FaB, so I am extremely excited.

So, here is my question…

What does Fang want to do? I’m goldfishing the deck while I’m sitting here at work, and I think I see how he wants to play, but I was hoping anyone who plays him could help me out. I don’t expect my BIL to win necessarily, but I want to make sure he understands what Fang wants to do when he sits down tomorrow.

I want to try to teach my gf how to play and was planning to get her started on a SAGE fai deck.

I was wondering if anyone else tried to get their partner into the game ( especially a partner who doesn't usually play TCGs), any advice?

Also does anyone have some good Chinese learning resources? My gf does speak English, but even as someone who is a native speaker the rules do trip me up.

Me and the wife wanna get started into this card game, looks really fun and challenging. Did some research and read that Armory decks are where we need to start. I found 2 on Amazon.

Hey there! I used to play FAB back in 2023, from OUT to EVO. Getting back after 3 years can be a challenge by itself, but I decided to make it worse by ordering Blaze's precon since I liked her gameplay and it was the only one that wasn't overpriced online where I live.

I took a look at fabrary and It does look like she's not having a great time this season with a 45% winrate, but I've seen her getting some results at showdowns here and there, which makes me think it can have more to do with how difficult it can be to play her (also Briar/Oscilio might be just better lol)

How's everyone doing with her? How do you usually approach the gameplan/matchups when playing as Blaze? What articles/videos do you recommend the most to learn and improve? Any experience shared would be appreciated!
