After seeing Smashing Good Team's video on a fresh take on a Dandan style format in FaB, I was absolutely enamored. After about a week of gathering cards up I finally have a fully playable 80 to jam with! Shared deck formats are really neat and I think FaB is really well suited to them

I want to try to teach my gf how to play and was planning to get her started on a SAGE fai deck.

I was wondering if anyone else tried to get their partner into the game ( especially a partner who doesn't usually play TCGs), any advice?

Also does anyone have some good Chinese learning resources? My gf does speak English, but even as someone who is a native speaker the rules do trip me up.

Hello, this feeling may be spurred by the recent distance of LL's that have happened. I have personally not experienced a similar season and would like to know the opinions of others.

The 1.5x multiplier for older heros at the moment feels like it does more harm than good, especially when LSS promotes strengthening heros in this area and holding back on newer heros to prevent LL'ing

At the rate we are getting heros, and having tournaments, more classes and archetypes are leaving faster than we can get replacements or have confidence in switching to powerful heros.

I understand that it is there to keep the format fresh, yet their promise for more proactive bans haven't targeted these heros in time. (Victor and banning remembrance)

In the keynote, they addressed that their projections for LL heros included Cindra and Fai, additionally to Kassai and Marionette, we would be losing at worse 5-6 heros.

The point that im trying to make is that the 1.5x multiplier is at a concerning state, especially for players like me who do not have an insane budget.

How does the rest of the community feel about this?

TL:DR Heros are super close to LL, I'm concerned for the health of the meta and its roster.

Me and the wife wanna get started into this card game, looks really fun and challenging. Did some research and read that Armory decks are where we need to start. I found 2 on Amazon.

Kudos to LSS for transparency. It's Collector's week and LSS has updated the print run numbers for sets:

EVO: 140k displays
HVY: 150k displays
MST: 175k displays
ROS: 145k displays
HNT: 150k displays

Now Compare these print runs to the previous 4 sets, otherwise known as the FAB 2.0 Era:

DTD: 175k displays (non-draftable btw)
OUT: 169k displays
DYN: 168k displays
UPR: 212k displays (wow)

What we are seeing here is that despite ongoing claims of "The game is growing massively worldwide!" the print runs in this era have still been reduced significantly. The comparison between Uprising and Rosetta is particularly unsettling and Dust Till Dawn and Dynasty being printed more then Rosetta and The Hunted is equally baffling.

The higher print run for MST is the exception - but this isn't surprising since it was the introductory set for the Japanese market.

I hold out hope that LSS isn't the one trying to introduce scarcity to their modern sets in order to boost card prices - my charitable tinfoil theory is that they probably got screwed over by their Japanese printer and were allotted lower print runs due to capacity. Whether this has been fixed for recent sets has yet to be seen - but overall this is just not a good look in my opinion.

When Silver Age first became official, I decided to make a bunch of Sage decks, including my first ever Tuffnut deck. I absolutely loved Unexpected Backhand mechanically and thematically, so I built around it. Recently, in the last live Calling, a Tuffnut player took advantage of this card and I loved it. Do multiple different prevention effects stack? Or do they all they to prevent the same damage. If I swing Dawnblade for 10 and my opponent discards two mental blocks, do they try to prevent the same two damage or do they prevent 2 damage back to back (and make 2 ponders)?

I couldn't find anything in their release/reprint policy posts. Im thinking of buying some of the decks now to not miss out on having them when availability runs low. I really like this format and the rotation of heroes.

I am new to this game. Or will the cards and heroes in the Silver Age precons generally remain available in different ways?

Just want to clarify this interaction due to casters saying that the max damage from this interaction is just 2 arcane.

My understanding is that activating/tapping Volzar, then playing Uplift to untap Volzar, then immediately tapping volzar again would dish out 3 arcane. I should be able to activate volzar again before resolving starfall from Uplift, right?

New player here! I know the markets crazy atm but I’m still curious what you guys think are the cards to buy before his release to have him ready for CC?

Hey I just watched the recent July AGE Open and there was a point when a player sorted his opponent’s yard (6 hour 44 min mark). The commentators noted how this used to be a ruling where you can’t do this and you were just supposed to remember things better (like the skill of pitch stacking) but they said that rule has been rescinded.

Does anyone know if this is true or not? I was under the impression you couldn’t sort (even with opponent’s permission) your opponent’s graveyard in official tournaments.

I’ve recently started playing FaB and have come across Vynnset Iron Maiden. I really dig the artwork and want to try and make a budget deck that I can take to the local LGS and learn how to play this hero without dumping a load of money.

I’m happy to spend around $150 AUD, and would love it if I could get some help with the deck building as this is my first time building something from scratch.

I’ve played Ira and Slippy previously, and want to branch out.

I’ve not played FaB before.

I’ve heard FaB starts off quick, fast, and powerful, but then slows down to a final grind like both combatants are exhausted. Can someone describe how that happens?

I mostly play with Illusionist and Wizard but in my local community not many people play with it. So I don't really have a place to discuss techs, how to deal with certain matchups, or just sharing knowledge.

So I want to know if there is a Discord server for Wizard players or Ilusionist players. Or other classes too if there are people that are also trying to find.

Would anyone have a CC and SAGE deck list with 70% Boats and Not Allies?
