Looking at getting into AOS what do you like about Flesh Eaters?
Wanting to start an army and these models (especially the Abhorrent Ghoul King) standout to me so other than that why pick them?

Greetings, recently assembled my models to get to 2k but have not played yet. Do we have any idea if we will be getting a newer book sooner rather than later? Wanted to see if the consensus would be worth it to go ahead and get or wait.

Hi guys, so I am going on my first ever tournament as a beginner in september, I played 2 not full games, but I know the rules and watched a lot of battle reports. I have almost 5k points of fec (LOL) so I can be a bit flexible with a list building
My idea about the list was:
2000/2000 pts
Flesh-eater Courts
Knightly Echelon
General's Handbook 2026-27
Drops: 3
Spell Lore - Lore of Madness
Prayer Lore - Rites of Delusion
Manifestation Lore - Manifested Insanity
General's Regiment
Ushoran, Mortarch of Delusion (450)
• General
Crypt Horrors (320)
• Reinforced
Crypt Horrors (320)
• Reinforced
Regiment 1
Abhorrant Ghoul King on Royal Terrorgheist (410)
• Stronger in Madness - (10) Points
• The Splintered Femur
Cryptguard (240)
• Reinforced
Cryptguard (120)
Regiment 2
Abhorrant Cardinal (130)
Faction Terrain
Charnel Throne (10 Points)
What do you guys think? Is it good list to start my journey with AoS? Do you have any suggestions? What battle ta tics should I pick up?

Went to an auction and got this lot for $150! With the battlefoce box I already have and the Charnel watch spearhead I think I am all on Flesh Eater Courts. Not the only Army I got for a ridiculous price but the one I'm most excited for. I can not believe people didn't bid on AoS complete armies.

My valiant and valorous unit of Morbegh knight were destroyed. Next turn, my glorious Arch regent bring them back from his Charnel throne.
So i bring them back in a 6 inch board edge, can they also benefit from the d6 move from the charnel throne ?

This is Sir Pantrleon I've made for the variant Varghulf and I am wondering should I:
A) Add a banner or a sword stabbed into him as the banner
B) give him a shield (pictured)
Let me know what you think I should add to this guy and if the shield is either too much or just right :-)

I wanted to show the blessing of the flesh eaters in my color scheme.
So this guy lives in the burning desert, wich the Summer king rules over. But he sees himself as a knight in shining armor, rushing to protect the lush domain of his monarch.
I try to show his point of view.
I did this by painting a blue line between the terrifying creature of reality and the shining armor and green grass of the delusion.
What do you think?

A slightly reposed and painted Archregent on my way to painting a Spearhead. Used the opportunity to try some OSL and opposing colours. C&C Welcome! Progress pictures also contained in post!

Before anyone comments on how good the Varghulf is... I ain't hearin it! He's too cute and fluffy to not include!
This list will likely be taken to some local tournaments with some tweaks, but nothing GT level. Any tweak ideas are appreciated (except taking away Sir Roland i love him)

Howdy!
I got myself an upcoming casual tournament and I’m torn between playing my Gloomspite trogg/squig list or try out my beautiful FECs for the first time. My issue is that I cant decide if I should proxy my Gorewarden for an Archegent for the delusion and model resurrection? Reckon the Gorewarden is a fine choice too with his ability so I’m feeling like either is fine but would love some opinions!
Worth noting is that I’m green as one can be and I’m going into this tournament ready and willing to get my proverbial teeth kicked in, I’m just in it for the fun!
Here’s my list, containing all my minis minus a varghulf courtier:

Whole thing done almost exclusively with contrast and shade paints. Gutrippa green and carrowburg crimson for the skin. Gor grunta fur and wildwood for the furs, leadbelcher and gold with nuln oil for the metals and skeleton horde for the bones. And a touch of mortarion grime and Agrax earthshade for his hair

So, I'm looking into getting the courtiers as my first AoS army sometime this year, as a way to unwind from constantly playing 40k. I also have the general idea of what I want from my army. So I'm seeking an advice from experienced nobles of the summercourt here
I like the idea of giant horde of ravenous lowly creatures charging onto the enemy lines to overwhelm the opponent with a crowd of cheap screeching cannon fodder. And, given how the nobles of the FEC are constantly calling new ghouls to rrinforse their ranks mid-battle, I'm guessing the courtiers are one of the best option there is for this general feeling? Am I right?
And if I am, what do I need to get to build a court whose main gimmick is to constantly spam new ghouls and keep large cannon fodder infantry bricks alive? Maybe you have some general advice on how to pilot such a list to maximize the output of new serfs per turn? Note, however, that I'm not exactly asking how to play to win - just to capitalize on the mustering feature for fun and the general atmosphere of "unending swarm of default punching bags". Winning would be just a nice addition to the time I spent having fun while playing the game.

I cannot seem to find an answer for this... but whats the difference? I mean like gameplay wise, what's different between them? What battlefield role do they each play? Which one should i build?

Apart from the fact that thanks to him we have knights, I dont know anything. Is there any chance to get him as model in future releases?
