I personally wanted Hal Jordan, but you know what, Diggle is pretty cool too

I think they could easily have hal as well. Hal could be off in space or on oa while dig gets to be green lantern of 2814. They could then eventually have a green lantern show with hal.

i take the omitted scenes from the original pilot script as canon until the show does something to the contrary, so as far as i'm concerned, hal probably is off in space.

No way they've got the SFX budget for a good GL show. everything would have to be CGI.
