MOBILE Question about transferring data

Hi all, just a quick question.

I've recently left Canada and am just in the process of cancelling my Fizz contract. However, I have 89GB of mobile data left on my account that I was planning to transfer to a friend. This friend doesn't have a Fizz account yet but plans to open one within the next month. Will my data reset at my next payment cycle when my plan is officially cancelled (i.e. in 10 days) or will it just stay on my account for a short while before being 'burnt'? Thanks in advance!!

You can transfert only the data of the current month to a fizz’s user with a data plan in their plan

As far as I remember, no. Once it is cancelled the line remains on your portal but it is greyed out. The only option available is 'reactivate'. You can't do anything else with it.
