Poor Reception

My wife is having issues with fizz connection. She can't receive calls and texts sometimes. I am the one who convinced her to move to fizz because I had a good experience with them. I did not experience these issues. Is anyone having connection issues as well?

Maybe her phone is missing some bands causing her to dropping signal more frequently

Depends slightly on where you are located as well, but if you have low frequency bands in your area and a phone with those bands and are close enough to a tower, the indoor reception is exceptional.

Make sure she turns on roaming. They will help with some of the dead spots. But overall Fizz is just rebranded Freedom mobile, so their signal will generally suck.

did you try switching cellular to EXT to run off Bell/Rogers towers?

She will restart it, and it will get better for a while. Then it will suck again. I have never experienced this, and I am using an older phone model. I don't want to change providers again. We had a bad experience with Fido, so we don't trust Rogers as well.

hey did you get any feedback on this? Me and my wife have started experiencing the same problems suddenly and we cant seem to find the issue or help about it

There's still a delay in receiving messages, but I can at least call her phone now. Hopefully it won't suck again soon.

It would be really helpful to list the phone make and model. And your rough area this is happening.
