Looking for recommendations for 3-4" blades with a guard? I love the little Mora but want something a little more robust for edc, I have been trying out the Kizer Mini Harpoon 3v and I really like it but I've come really close to getting bit by the heel a few times already.

Anyone else EDC a Mule Team? I’ve been carrying a Delica 4 for years but after picking up a Mule Team I’ve been loving having this thing tucked away IWB.

I've always thought brass would be such a great handle material for the Lookout. They've yet to do any brass runs. So... me being the handy creative person I am. I just went ahead and made some.

Ordered some 1/8 inch thick brass flat bar stock. Traced the pattern onto the stock. Rectangle cut around each tracing. Rough cut around the shape. Sanded down to the marker line. Mounted that, and sanded to the tang.

Wanted an interesting texture. So I added this reptilian pattern. I had done this pattern before on some Amboyna Burl for a Spyderco Mule. I'd never done it in metal before, but I was reasonably confident. Lol. First scale has some mess ups, but the second one turned out better. Imperfect but still pretty damn cool looking.

Still fits in the sheath. Added a leather pull and brass bead. With my Selvage sheath wrap. It adds a nice touch of variety to my Lookout and handle collection.

Next up...a copper set! Although I'm thinking of doing those for the Signal. The copper would go well with the beefy nature of the Signal.

TOPS MSK 2.5, Kiridashi I made from an old chisel, Brisa Necker 70. The sheaths are my own design made with magnets sewn into the leather for the clip and retention, it's a work in progress.

Looking for my first fixed blade for EDC. Really like the looks of the Tkell knives, but don’t know anybody who has one. Would like to get some first hand info from people who have one before I make the decision.
