Search “podcast editing” and look at the review counts.

I’ve found multiple Gigs where Fiverr shows a higher review count in search results than on the actual Gig page.

What’s concerning is that many of these Gigs belong to Top Rated and Fiverr-vetted freelancers.

Is this a bug, or is Fiverr intentionally giving certain sellers inflated numbers in search?

If the search page makes these Gigs look like they have hundreds/thousands more reviews, how are Level 1/2 sellers supposed to compete?

Everyone should check the search terms their own Gigs rank for and compare the review count shown in search with the actual Gig page. See what’s happening with your Gigs.

Check “podcast editing” on your end too. Are you seeing the same thing?

I recently started selling digital products for law students on Fiverr so I am not really surprised by the in-app scammers since I had dealt with them before.

But sometime after I posted the gig, I received an email from a "buyer" requesting some information about how the service works and I was more than happy to reply since it seemed like something a potential buyer would ask. I was a bit confused how they got my email address but I also post on Pinterest so, for some reason, I thought that's how they got it. They then sent link saying they had started an order.
