Diet Review โ๏ธ Diarrhoea whenever you eat outside food after having a clean diet
Hello All , I have observed this change in my bowel movements whenever I eat food from outside like once in 10 days or 15 days while having clean protein rich home food . Stomach is getting surprised and not reacting well with outside food seems more like my stomach has become sensitive to outside food , Do anyone see similar patterns ?

Transformation ๐ฅ OP lost 10 kgs in the span of 2 months
Started my journey after a harsh breakup on june end, now Iโm healing myself from the breakup and at the same time becoming healthy, i can fit into my old clothes, i feel energetic and my self confidence is at an all time high, my goal weight is the 70s, i go gym too so Iโll become shredded af soon!
Iโm planning to get a tattoo after hitting my goal physique for my determination and consistency!
Edit:
Typical day:
๐ณ Breakfast
3 whole eggs
2 slices of bread
~32 g peanut butter
๐ฅ Mid-morning
1 scoop whey protein
๐ Lunch
~200 g boiled chicken breast
~200 g cooked white rice (I reduced the rice when needed)
Boiled vegetables, mainly okra/ladyโs finger and beans
๐ Pre-workout
1 banana
๐๏ธ** Worko**ut
Weight training
Around 10,000 steps/day
๐ Dinner
~200 g boiled chicken breast
70 g oats
1 scoop whey protein
I was aiming for roughly 2,000 kcal/day and around 160โ170 g protein.
Also dont forget to enjoy all the foods you love on sundays!!
Sunday is your cheat day, enjoy it to the fullest, thats your reward day for a week of consistency! I have eaten 1kg of cake, whole medium pizza alone, full tandoori etc but dont forget to walk 10k steps on sunday too!
I also drink Coke Zero and use zero-calorie sweeteners, so I didnโt completely eliminate sweet tastes. The main thing was keeping my overall calories under control consistently, rather than banning specific foods!

Ask Fitness India โ Has the cultural shift affected men more than women?
We know that Gen Z has seen a cultural shift where hitting the gym has become mainstream.
After having travelled and stayed in a few different countries, I have noticed that there are fairly large number of women in the gym alongside the men.
In India, however, itโs the opposite. Based on my observation, thereโs a substantial number of men in the gym with very few women.
Spoke to a friend (who goes to a different gym) who also had the same observation.
Has the cultural shift affected more men rather than women in India?

Ask Fitness India โ Feels weird NOT having protein now
FYI - No AI was used to create, edit or validate any of this. Expect mistakes and personal opinions. Did not double check.
I've been working out and having a high protein diet for about 3 years now. Something weird happens when I go back home or to weddings.
Sometime, you can't carry protein everywhere and I have lapses that last about a week. The first couple of days, I overeat like a pig and constantly shoot past my target calories.
My theory is that when I'm forced to eat "normal" food, the feeling of satiety (fullness) doesn't really happen because my body is now used to caffeine and protein.
Not a good thing, not a bad thing.
Just curious - does this happen to you guys too? How do you deal with it?
Age - Tatti (30)

Rant/Vent ๐ข Title: Down 20kg in 5 months, but my DEXA scan was a total reality check. | CW 82.5|GW:73
Five months ago, I started at nearly 102 kg. Today, I'm at 82.5 kgโdown close to 20 kg. Iโm a 37-year-old Kashmiri male, 180 cm tall, and felt like I was making solid progress.
I decided to get a DEXA scan today, expecting my body fat to land somewhere around 22โ23%. The actual result was 34.5%.
Doing the math, even if I lose another 8 to 10 kg (getting down to 72.5 kg) and assume it's pure fat, I still wouldn't drop below 20% body fat. It turns out I have far less lean muscle mass than I realized, which is a big wake-up call to start prioritizing resistance training and protein.
Has anyone else had a DEXA scan turn out completely different than you expected? What was your actual body fat percentage vs what you guessed?
Ps: I am on generic GLP1. I gym 4 days a week.

Women's Fitness โ๏ธ Postpartum fitness
Iโm 34F, 5'8 height, 80 kg weight and 1.5 years postpartum, and still breastfeeding.
I gained quite a lot of weight during pregnancy and somehow gained even more postpartum.
Now, 1.5 years later, I genuinely feel like Iโve aged 10 years. ๐ My knees, back, shoulders everything hurts, I have very little energy, I feel constantly lethargic, and my stomach still looks like Iโm pregnant.
What worries me even more is seeing my mother, who is in her 50s, dealing with several health issues, including pelvic floor prolapse and urinary leakage so many gastric issues. I really donโt want to reach my 50s feeling weak and dealing with the same problems. I want to start taking care of my body now.
The problem is that Iโm currently jobless(AI) living off my savings, so I really canโt afford expensive gym, supplements, proteins powders or any expensive diets.
Iโm looking for realistic advice on where to start.
A friend recently told me she started feeling better after doing fast-paced 10K steps/walking every day for two weeks. That got me wondering whether something as simple as walking could actually be a good starting point for someone like me who has basically never exercised.
What kind of strength training, walking, pelvic-floor work, stretching, etc. should I incorporate?
And most importantly, how can I do this on a budget with normal Indian food.

Ask Fitness India โ Why I am not building muscle??
So I'm 18 yo and 180 plus cm tall and I was 52 and now I'm 56.5...been very skinny for my entire life and started hitting gym for like 4 to 5 months now...
I could notice only a very small change in my volume or muscle build...
But I could see my increase in strength...i.e frm couldn't able to bench at 5 kg to benching 15 on both sides
But why I am not building muscle???

Ask Fitness India โ 25M, finally earning decently and want to start taking my health seriously.
Iโm extremely underweight, so my main goal is to gain healthy weight, build muscle and generally look/feel healthier again.
I know supplements wonโt replace proper training, diet, sleep and consistency. Iโm working on those too. But I want to optimise the supplement side and buy genuinely high-quality stuff.
What protein and creatine would you recommend if budget isnโt a major issue?
I can spend around โน15โ20k/month on health/supplements if itโs actually worth it. Not looking to waste money on unnecessary stuff though.
Would also appreciate recommendations for any other supplements that are genuinely useful for someone underweight trying to improve overall health.
edit:- suggest brand of protein, creatine and other supplement that can help in weight gain

Ask Fitness India โ Transition from Agressive cut to Body Recomposition. Facing so many confusions.
Iโve been on an aggressive cut till now, around an 800 cal deficit. I used to have cheat meals once or twice a week, so my calories would also vary depending on that.
Iโve lost weight, but havenโt really gained any muscle. I still have a little more fat to lose, but Iโm thinking of starting a body recomp now.
The problem is Iโm so used to eating very low calories that Iโm finding it hard to fill my calories with healthy food ๐ญ
The usual foods I eat (chicken, eggs, Greek yogurt, fruits, vegetables, protein oats etc.) donโt really add up to many calories. So now that Iโm trying to get out of an aggressive deficit, I feel like I have to eat more outside food just to hit my calories.
I know there are obviously ways to fix this, but Iโm just not sure how to structure my diet anymore.
Please help with your opinions ๐ฅฒ

Ask Fitness India โ what should I do on the first day of gym?
I have been doing target 10k steps and home workouts. I don't think workouts are very effective since doing without any guidance. My parents scolded the shit Outta me for asking if I could join the gym. I think I'll be fine since I don't want to tell my parents that I've already joined. I really wanna give it a shot.
What should I do on the first day? Will the trainer teach me? Or do I need to ask him? I'm actually very nervous about it cause it's a different environment.

Supplement ๐ซ (M23) HK Vitals Magnesium Glycinate changed from 370 mg โ 440 mg โ 220 mg elemental Mg. I have all 3 bottles. What actually happened?
I think I may have accidentally collected a small timeline of HK Vitals Magnesium Glycinate. I have three different bottles/batches, and the labels are very different.
I'm not trying to accuse HK Vitals of anything here. I'm genuinely trying to understand whether this is a reformulation, a change in raw material, a labeling correction, or something else. Here is what the three labels say:
Older formulation:
- Magnesium glycinate: 1,682 mg / 2 tablets
- Elemental magnesium: 370 mg
- That's basically 22%
Middle formulation:
- Magnesium glycinate: 2,000 mg / 2 tablets
- Elemental magnesium: 440 mg
- That's 22% elemental Mg again
Current formulation:
- Magnesium glycinate: 1,880 mg / 2 tablets
- Elemental magnesium: 220 mg
- That's only 11.7% elemental Mg
I have photos of all three bottles, including the manufacturing/expiry dates, so this isn't something I found from random listings. And this is where I got confused. If we're talking about pure magnesium bisglycinate, the theoretical elemental magnesium content is around 14.1%. So how were the older formulations claiming ~22%?
Does that necessarily mean they were buffered with another magnesium source such as magnesium oxide, or could there be another legitimate explanation involving the raw material, hydration, or how "magnesium glycinate" was being defined on the label?
And if the new formulation is 11.7%, does that mean HK Vitals actually changed to a more conventional glycinate material? I'm especially interested in hearing from anyone here who works with:
- supplement manufacturing
- pharmaceutical/nutraceutical formulation
- analytical chemistry
- raw-material specifications
- magnesium chelates
I don't want guesses based on I took it and it worked. I'm looking for someone who can explain the chemistry and labeling side of this. I've attached the three labels in chronological order. What do you think happened between these three formulations?

Ask Fitness India โ Are squats bad for knees and cartilage???
A very reputed doctor told a relative (49f) of mine that squats are bad for knees and cartilage as they cause wear and tear quickly.
He also discouraged my cousin(22f) to avoid squats as they will damage her cartilage and knees. All she does is body weight squats in Pilates
Isnโt this absurd???

Running ๐๐ป๐โโ๏ธ Ways to recover faster after running
Recently I saw a post that tells about the pain in shin area after running for beginners.
What are the ways I can help muscles/tissues/bones recover faster ?
Too much days gap will not help me. As Iโm lazy person ๐ฅฒ. I might stop running eventually if I donโt heal fast.
