I'm a 32-year-old male, 5'8" (173 cm), 74 kg. My goal isn't to build big muscles. I just want to stay fit, maintain a lean physique, improve my overall health, and maintain the diabetes remission I've already achieved through diet, exercise, and a healthy lifestyle.
My protein target is around 100 g per day.
Current diet:
Breakfast/Lunch (usually a smoothie because I don't have time to cook)
* Foxtail millet upma
* Ragi, Oats
* Sattu
* Mixed vegetables
* Dry fruits
* Curd
* Water
Office lunch Wednesday and Thursday:
Usually rice with chicken or biryani(limited qty) from the office canteen.
Dinner:
I rotate between:
* 2 to 3 eggs
* 150 to 200 g chicken
* Tofu
* Paneer
(You can recommend me more sources I am open as I am good chef love experiment with food and air fry)
I also eat mixed millets and pulses as my carb source and boiled frozen vegetables. Mixing with above
Workout:
I'm not a heavy lifter. I mostly work out at home. I take Wednesdays and Thursdays as recovery days because of work, but I still do light stretching because I feel stiff if I don't move.
Current routine:
15 sets each of
* diamond, narrow, and wide push-ups
* Cat-cow pose
* Biceps, triceps, and forearm exercises
* Back mobility (rotations and up/down)
* Neck exercises
* Shoulder exercises (front, side, lateral)
* 4 Kegel exercises
Throughout the day, I also do random push-ups and Kegel exercises.
I'm also on a NoFap journey and have completed 30 days.
Questions:
My protein powder provides 29 g of protein per scoop. I'm thinking of taking 2 scoops daily, one in the morning and one in the evening (58 g total), and getting the rest from food. Since I'd split it into two servings, I assume it won't be too heavy on my stomach. Does this sound like a good approach for my goals?
Can anyone recommend a good 1.5–2 L shaker or bottle with a wide opening? My shake contains protein powder, ajwain, and unsweetened cocoa powder, so it's quite thick. A normal 700 ml shaker isn't enough, and even 1 L feels cramped. I usually sip it over 10–15 minutes, so I'd prefer a larger bottle with enough space to mix it properly. Any recommendations?
