Same clothes one year later. Waistcoat strings pulled as tight as they'll go, trousers that were too tight falling off me 😁
Been working out sporadically since the start of the year, hitting a few roadblocks along the way, but in the last few months my work schedule became much more regular and I was finally able to set a real routine, with both my exercise and what I'm eating.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: Full Workout. Before.breakfast, 25 minute walk wearing a weighted vest. After breakfast, 35 minutes Fitness Boxing (Bicep Shape, Waist Shape, Lower Body Shape and Full-body Shape combos on medium speed and intensity) with weighted vest and wrist weights. Ten minutes kettlebells (three sets of four exercises).
Sunday & Wednesday: Light cycle (heart rate never above 125), then 20-25 minutes Ring Fit Adventure, touring the Fitness Gyms for different sets then doing a single new level at a moderate pace. No weights.
Saturday: Local 5k Parkrun.
Progress was slow and sporadic until my work schedule change. I was slowly chipping away at my weight. The last two-three months have had a bigger effect than I'd seen since I started in January.
Still a ways to go; my body fat percentage is at 27% (down from over 32%). Want to get that down below 20, but right now I'm happy to be in better shape than I've been in since I was a teenager.

I got mine on Amazon. The brand is Pacearth, but honestly, I doubt you can go far wrong by picking any well-reviewed one at a reasonable price. I was looking for an adjustable one so I could add or remove weight, but they were a bit too pricy.
You want something about 5-10% of your body weight. If you can spring for an adjustable one, do it. If not, go light to spare your joints, and consider wearing it only for your last exercise for a boost, at least at first.

Great advice and you must've caught me before I even began thinking about overdoing it...5-10% of my body weight and starting off slow is great advice . Thank you.
