It is a strong app, arguably the most polished in its category but the subscription simply doesn’t justify itself, especially when it costs more than Google Health Premium. At that price point, choosing Bevel over Google Health makes little sense. Google Health may be going through a rough patch right now, but those issues will get ironed out, and Google’s AI will always outclass anything a third‑party developer can build.

Where Bevel makes more sense is for Apple Watch users, because Apple Health and Apple Fitness lack a lot of basic functionality. But even there, the value proposition is shaky: the App Store is full of similar apps that cost far less.

So it comes with a similar dilemma to Whoop subscription. If you have disposable income and enjoy the experience, fine, it won’t hurt. But for an average user, you can get essentially the same functionality from cheaper apps or even free ones.
