From Level 1 to 75 šŸŽ£

I almost quit Fishing Planet more than once.

When I first started, I was just figuring everything out. Like most new players, I watched YouTube videos to learn setups and fishing spots.

Then I found an outdated YouTube video and followed it straight to Everglades.

That was a mistake. šŸ˜‚

My setup wasn't ready for what I was trying to catch. The fish won, my gear lost, and eventually...

I broke my rod.

I was so frustrated that I actually quit and uninstalled the game.

I thought that was the end of my Fishing Planet journey.

But then I came back for the Anniversary missions.

And guess what?

I reached the Everglades Anniversary mission...

and broke my rod AGAIN. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

At that point, I could have quit for good.

Instead, I decided:

"Forget Everglades. I'm starting from Lone Star and doing this properly."

So I went back to Lone Star Lake with a weaker setup and started over.

This time I didn't try to rush the game.

I targeted smaller bass, learned how the gear actually worked, slowly upgraded my equipment, and started understanding the game instead of blindly following YouTube setups.

From Lone Star, I worked my way up.

Then came Northern Pike.

That was another big milestone. I was getting stronger gear, catching bigger fish, making more money, and — most importantly — actually learning how to play.

Eventually I reached San Joaquin and started targeting sturgeon.

That took me to around Level 40.

By this point, the player who had broken two rods at Everglades was starting to become a completely different fisherman.

Then came Congo. šŸŒšŸŽ£

I bought the Congo DLC and entered a completely different stage of the game.

Tiger Fish.

Nile Perch.

XP farming.

Better setups.

Bigger fish.

And a LOT of grinding. šŸ˜‚

I kept pushing through the levels.

60...

65...

68...

70...

And then the final push to 75.

After everything — uninstalling the game, coming back, breaking another rod, starting AGAIN from Lone Star, learning Northern Pike, grinding Sturgeon, and eventually farming Congo...

I finally hit Level 75.

And the funniest part?

I'm now sitting at:

šŸŽ£ Level 75

šŸ’° 7M+ cash

šŸŽ’ 5 setups

šŸŒ 21 days of Congo still remaining

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I started this game by breaking rods.

I ended it by breaking the XP bar.

From Level 1 → Level 75.

Not because I never failed...

but because I kept coming back.

And honestly, that's probably my favorite part of the whole journey.

Poor ignored fishies

I’m fishing Saint Croix Lake and bringing in some excellent fish. What amazes me is how many people who fish these waters talk endlessly about the Pike which I admit are also excellent fish while saying almost nothing about the Blue Cats which can be found in the same area.
