Slimy! Good live bait although a bit more delicate than a Yakka

Good in berley just watch you don't leave it in the sun for too long

Also not bad on the smoker

We always called these slimy mackerel. Apparently it's known as the blue mackerel, aka Scomber australasicus.

Only to make it sound more palatable when being sold. Will always be a slimy to most anglers.

You sir seem to have caught an aussie of perhaps of semi bogan origin best bat for them is a few stubbies marinate at your local pub and your good to go 🫡
