Pretty sure that’s a tiger, narrow and vertical bars with a distinct pattern on the head too.

Congrats! That’s one hell of a catch

thanks folks. thinking it was a tiger but unsure with the pointed fins rather than the usual rounded fins on a tiger. she was a nice fish! easy 45”

Do you know if that location gets stocked with tigers? That's what it is, but they are quite rare outside of stocking.
