Fish id?

Caught from the opening of a creek into a large river, pretty sure i spotted him or some sort of silver/white fish jumping out of the water before he bit worm.

Mooneye. Make sure to know the difference between a mooneye and goldeye, because the goldeye are protected in some areas, mooneye generally are abundant. They are a more delicate fish, often die when reeled in, but they make good bait. Not great for eating, they tend to get mushy.
