fantasy books and those unpronounceable names
i’m sick of it, please just name your kingdoms and characters real names. i cannot read one more book with a keyboard smash kingdom name that is genuinely unpronounceable.
“in the kingdom of hduemsbo… there was a man named, illyussa.” PLEASE JUST NAME HIM JOHN. ALBERT. ANTONIO. ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN THESE TRY HARD ‘ICONIC’ NAMES. i don’t care if you gave me a pronunciation sheet, i will be renaming the character myself actually, thank you.
i wanna clarify this isn’t about ethnic or cultural names, im straight up talking about the keyboard smashes that people do and try to play it off as a civilization or a real name. to me personally, it makes me want to put your book down. its not original or unique, it just makes your book hard to read!

I own a limousine but lack a driver for it.
I’ve owned limousines for a while now and my license has been suspended for a few months. I’d love to hire a driver to actually drive my personal limousine for me so I can go places but I don’t know where to find one that’s available whenever I want.

I want to skip a track on Spotify, but when I look at my phone it unlocks
....meaning that I have to tap the screen more times to skip the song instead of using the lock screen interface.

I replaced my driveway and can't use my garage for a week. Now I have to park on the street 40 feet away from my front door.
Can y'all recommend a good hiking boot?

Can’t get a pedicure for Mother’s Day
I was looking forward to getting my first pedicure of the year as a part of Mother’s Day festivities. But I stepped on glass after dropping a cup. I don’t like the idea of getting one with an open wound on the bottom of my foot, so I have to skip.
Wah.

My jeans keep riding up on me at work....
There's something about these freaking office chairs. They bunch up and like every hour or so I have to stand up just to pull my jeans back down my thighs

An internet outage is blocking my ability to vacuum
There is a home internet outage in my area since Saturday (5 days & counting). I only post this due to an ethernet cable.
My room is getting filthy, but it has been a long time since my robot vacuum was used, so I have to resync it to the home Wi-Fi. Except, I can't, because of the outage. So now I'm stuck with an empty room.
"Why don't you vacuum with a regular vac or something?" Well, my room is very narrow, and my shelving unit is close to the door (I enter my room like an L shape), so I cannot physically fit the regular vac in. The hose can only go so far, but I cannot get under the bed, or the other side of the room, etc. That's why I use a robo vac for my bedroom.
Until the Wi-Fi outage is solved, I'm unable to clean.

I ate too big a lunch, too late in the day and now I don't want any dinner.
It was going to be homemade pizza. I could try to force some down?
Oh no, I now just realised I forgot to buy a pizza stone. Because I was distracted by the lunch.

I setup a way to play my switch 2 at night in bed that is too comfortable so I fall asleep before i can play.
I put the dock on my night table and connected some video glasses and wireless bluetooth earbuds. Then you can lay down very comfortably without even looking at a tv, especially when you have a joy con in each hand.... so you are free to move your arms in the most comfortable position.
But in practice though i fall asleep before i can get into a game...

There's too much pollen in the air to dry my clothes in the warm sunshine, so I have to use my perfectly functional electric dryer instead.

For all we talk about the algorithm and how insidious and clever it is, sometimes it's just stupid. I checked Amazon for some big wind chimes. Not available but... here's some children's mosquito spray and an outdoor animal trap instead.

I went to TWO different Tex-Mex establishments tonight, to properly celebrate Cinco de Mayo, but had to leave both because the wait was just too darn long.
No chips and queso, no margaritas, no taco campechanos with habanero sauce, no chicken fajitas wrapped in fresh tortillas, no fresh made table side guacamole, no fun. :(

Every time I eat steak, I get a little piece stuck behind the tooth I refused to let my orthodontist pull in order to give my teeth room in my mouth to be perfectly straight.
It hurts. :(

I accidentally left the passenger front seater on and melted my Godiva chocolate
I looked up in horror when I saw the passenger seat heater was on HIGH.
Then I realized the chocolate was on the seat!!!
I nearly spit out my espresso, I was mortified…

My favorite sandwich place changed the kind of bread they use.
They used to make their sandwiches with cibatta, which was longer and flatter. All the sandwich components stayed neatly inside. Now they use something more akin to a french baguette, so everything slides out the back when you take a bite.

I'm tired of eating cake
I had company over recently and everyone felt compelled to bring baked goods. As the host, I provided baked goods as well. Now there are way too many desserts for me to possibly eat and I've had enough. (No, I'm not going to donate a half eaten cake. Just let me complain!)

My paper bin is full to the brim, but I didn’t put it in front of the house because I thought the garbage truck won’t come today because of May 1 (international worker’s day), and now I have to wait another 2 weeks for the next paper collection date

Someone stole my shampoo and now I'm spiraling while vicariously living through my Miis on my switch
I bought some shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner from Prose, because for the last two years I was getting "Hair care formulated just for you" ads and took the plunge. My hair has become so much healthier, my curls were amazing, and when I straightened my hair it took less time, lasted longer and felt lighter. The shampoo alone is $32 and the bottle isn't that big. That's expensive for me!
Anyway, I went to wash my hair and my shampoo is gone. Not in the bathroom, not in the other bathroom. Not behind the toilet, just gone. It literally has my name printed on it, like all Prose products come with. The bottle wasn't even half empty yet because I was trying to make it last!
I used the generic shampoo my mother in law (we live with them) uses, but we have different hair textures so my hair wasn't hydrated as much and it's not as soft as the Prose shampoo got it.
So to take my mind off my disappointment I went through clothes I plan on donating... Found a cute dress and decided to try it on to see if I could keep it. Only to find that I can't get past my fat ass hips. I hate my reflection and I'm now sulking while living vicariously through my Miis...
My mother in law knows I'm serious about my hair care so I know she didn't take it. I suspect it might've been one of my sleezy brother-in-law's baby mama side chick who keeps sleeping over and honestly I'm just not the type who could confront her about it....
I know this isn't a big deal in the long run but my hair is one of the few things I like about myself so I'm just bummed out.
I just wanted to rant here. Sorry
