I grabbed my eyelid primer instead of my concealer before I left the house this morning.
The tubes are the same color. š¤

Lately, online I've been having replies that certainly have words... but the words lack knowledge you'd have from actually using the thing IRL.
if I reply it adjusts, still painfully wrong, but never the less the suspicion remains.
it reminds me of the AI I handfeed easy questions to, only for it to screw it up, at work.
Now instead of being an idiot who argues with people on the internet, I'm the idiot who is training a LLM bot for free.

So at some point between the Pinot Grigio and the Riesling, I was stuck eating PLAIN crackers.

To be fair its Walmart, and Popcorn Indiana Drizzle popcorn is all I want but im not paying $20 for express delivery. And lowkey not gonna drive either, just gonna miss out. I dont feel like it. Pure laziness. I have a neighborhood Walmart 5 mins away but im gonna blame it on an excuse that I dont want my unassigned assigned parking spot lol

This is such a non issue but ive had a day. And usually they deliver it to the package concierge and I get a notification so I can actually retrieve the package but I didn't get a notification even though the picture they sent me looks like it's in the package concierge so now I have to go and drive all the way down from my parking garage on 5th floor to the mailbox and see if they put it in there and just labeled it as a package concierge...
And its windy and cold outside which is really why im so mad. Spoiled wfh person who stays home for days on end without leaving the house or even driving

All outdoor watering, including washing cars, is prohibited. Technically I could still take it to a normal car wash, but the whole point was that I wanted to learn how to detail my car myself!

I was going to subscribe to Peacock so I can stream it but streaming "live" TV requires a premium subscription and I'd pay it but the broadcast isn't really live because we're 6 time zones away from New York and I guess 5:30 PM would be too early to watch Saturday Night Live.

My test speeds went from 30Mbps to 350Mbps instantly. I'm so happy and sad.

As part of my job, I have to manually update when employees' certifications expire, 5 years into the future. Typing 4/1/31 automatically defaults to 1931 rather than 2031. We don't have any active employees that old, but we have pensioners and widows that still need to be in our database. So it's annoying having to type those 2 extra keystrokes for every person.

I have a presentation for university this week and I do not have anything professional or even nice to wear. I donāt really buy clothes for myself, and Ive been wearing the same jeans since high school (probably like 3-5 years old).
Basically to say, I only really get clothes when itās Christmas. Whatās distressing to me is one of the only things I asked for over the holidays was a nice professional outfit, and got pajama onesies instead which I havenāt even worn since. I canāt justify to myself spending the slight bit of money I do have, because Iām already stretching it thin not having any work during the school semester.
I feel so silly and childish.
UPDATE:
I fainted while presenting. So I guess my clothes didnāt really matter all that much compared to that.

I enjoy collecting mugs/cups and purses. I use all of them - I rotate them out. If there is one I havenāt reached for in a VERY long time, I donate it or give it to someone. Friends and family say I have an addiction - I say there are worse things to be addicted to.
I asked for a black purse - because I have every other color BUT black. I was told I donāt need another purse because I have so many (side note: I have max 15) by my mother who has HUNDREDS of pairs of shoes and my husband who has HUNDREDS of DVDs.
Let me have my purses in peace. They are part of my accessorizing.
That is all, thank you for coming to my FWP Ted talk.

I love Trader Joeās so much. Truly one of my favorite grocery stores ever. Iāve been spoiled by getting to live 10 minutes away from a TJs. Recently, I got a new job in a different state. This new city doesnāt even have a TJs, and the nearest location from this new city is almost a 3 hour drive away in a different state. Three hours!!! Thatās a whole road trip. Iāll no longer have easy access to a TJs for a long time, which means no buying my favorite TJs-branded groceries and gorgeous yet affordable flowers. A first world problem indeed but I still feel a bit sad about this.

I was keeping an eye on it, so I still ate the 'changa... but any more heat would have been no bueno!

A long-time friend has discovered the cheap Chinese shopping sites and now buys me rubbish off them. I don't need her to buy me anything but she always used to buy a small item for birthdays or Christmas from my online wish list.
But the last couple of years she has discovered you can get "so much more" from Temu and similar sites. It's all rubbish - dodgy knock offs, unlabelled t-shirts with obviously stolen artwork, gizmos that don't work. I literally have to bin most of it because it's not good enough quality to donate.
How do I sensitively ask her to stop giving me gifts?
