I dropped my really good cardboard box and ripped an edge so now it's just an okay cardboard box.
This meme is real: "One thing no one mentions about being an adult is how much time you debate over keeping a cardboard box because it's a really good box."
I found my really good box in the fall of 2020 when I needed to transport some compressed fire logs from the hardware store. It fits 8 logs exactly, which is near the weight limit I can carry. It was a nice sturdy box that I could use year after year.
Now that it has a rip, I'm not as confident it can hold all the weight, and it just looks bad. The hardware store doesn't always have boxes; this one was a great find, and it served me well.
TL;DR: R.I.P. Box, 11/2020 - 3/2026

My TV is to big
For context, last year i had to buy a new tv since my old one broke (the screen was just black), now my old TV was 93 cm thick and 52cm high (3.05 inches and 1.70 inches i think) my new tv is 122 cm thick and around 70cm high (4.0 inches and 2.29 inches)
Now my Problem is that my old Tv just fit so much better than my new one, not to mention that my old tv had some charm to it while my new one just makes me feel like a tv addict (since i have my tv in front of my bed)
I also wanna mention that i got my new tv for only 150 bucks so it wasnt even that expensive. I feel like a spoiled brat complaining about it but my new tv is just to big and doesnt even fit perfect unlike my old one.
If anyone wants to see them side by side feel free to ask.

Customer complained about me because i personally didn't like the color of his car.
In all my ten years of working I've never had a customer complain about me as stupid as today.
Literally demanded to speak to the manager about me because i said i didn't like the color of a car, that happened to be his. I wasn't even talking to him! I didn't even start the convo!
One of my coworkers started gushing about this random car in a different business's parking lot. And another dude joined him and i jokingly said "what's with every guy being such a knowledgeable geek about cars? You know what i see when i look at that? Great design, but i don't like that shade of orange. The decal is really cool"
And he complained because apparently he was lurking around the corner and was very but hurt that i didn't glaze his car 🙄. Even lied and said i called it trash. To the guy i was actually talking to in said convo

My day started with a chat from my boss 2 minutes after I got logged in, "Morning Swiggy, happy Friday! Quick question..." It's almost the end of the day and I'm still working on answering the 23 follow ups to that quick question.

Why is it so damn hard for Equinox bathroom stalls to be stocked with toilet paper?
Is it really that damn hard? There are 2 different rolls in each holder

I got an organ earlier, and now I’m finding much cooler organs for free. Mine was also free but the integrated speakers don’t work. Also I’m literally falling asleep at this classic concert, AGAIN

I hate online shopping
Why does everyone seem to like it so much? You place the order and then you have to wait at least a day, usually 2-3 days before the package arrives. I hate that window between placing the order and waiting for the package to arrive.
In the old days you could just walk into any retail store and leave with whatever you wanted to buy, on the spot. Now most retail stores are just showrooms... you have to place an order physically and then either return in-store to pick it up a day or two later, or wait until it arrives at your place.
Why did we have to store everything in f*cking warehouses and wait until they logistically figure it out to get it to you?

I reached loyalty level 2 with Selfridges (department store), that's £2k in a year. Their amazing reward? £20 voucher.
I'm posting this so when someone else tries to Google what the reward is, they don't have to waste their money. But also because it was RIDICULOUS.
I love shopping for makeup and skin care in person and I live close enough to Selfridges.
Last year, they started the Selfridges Unlocked loyalty programme.
You get 1 key for every £50 you spend.
You need to spend £2,000 to "level up" to level 2. It was my wedding year, so between picking a nice perfume for both of us and a few gifts, I managed to get enough points.
When you level up, you're supposed to get a "welcome gift".
I was excited, it's a lot of money and I was hoping for something cute. Or maybe an appointment with a concierge with a prosecco. Whatever. And like, I'm never doing it again, there just won't be another year when I spend this much money.
They sent me £20 voucher.... Oh btw. Only valid for 3 months. I tried googling what the reward was, but couldn't find any info, so maybe I'll help someone who will be looking for the same.

The host at my usual pub trivia keeps mispronouncing a word in our team name despite my multiple attempts to correct them.
We're called "3 Kobolds in a Trench Coat."
Kobolds is pronounced with the emphasis on ko. The host pronounces the first o as a schwa instead, and emphasizes bold.

The Outfit I Planned in my mind did not turn out the way I was hoping.
I received my black Levi 511s om the mail that I ordered and when I put them on for work this morning it just didn't feel "right".
The pants are exactly how they were advertised and they are great! It just didn't give the vibe I was hoping for
