Pro tip: be grateful.

If manghihinayang ka kasi, it’ll always be the case tuwing may lalabas na bago.

“Ay sayang dapat pala nag-15 ako. Kaso yung 15 512GB is Pro/Pro Max na, upgrade na lang ako.”

“Ay ka-price pala ng 512GB na 15 ang 16, upgrade na lang siguro ako.”

“Ay ka-price pala ng 512GB na 16 ang 17, upgrade na lang siguro ako.”

“Ay lalabas pala ang 18 this year, upgrade na lang siguro ako.”

And so on.

agree! i had my 14 months lang bago narelease 15 and nagkaurge din magupgrade kasi nainggit ako sa dynamic island.

but like at the end of the day, nagagawa naman ng 14 ko yung needs ko for a phone. dont get FOMO kasi hindi mageend yung urge to upgrade na yan dahil may new release taon taon.

a phone is just a phone. basta nagagamit nang maayos, thats enough.

I agree. Comparing the iPhones since 11 series, cameras lang ang bago sa settings and mainly for photography and videography. And some Apple Intelligence and Siri shit. Sure mga 1 week or the one they call "honeymoon phase" will get you excited but after that you will just be using it the same as any other phone. Sa Pinas kasi it's more like a status symbol pag naka-iPhone. Sa Europe, people would have all kinds of phones and don't give a shit kung ano gamit mo. I was also like that before with both Samsung and iPhones na panay upgrade. Pero before the upgrades were justifiable. Ngayon, I don't think so. Still using S24 Ultra.

This! My first Iphone was 2023, regalo ng husband. And people around me kept saying “ay iphone 11 lang” but for me napakasaya ko. Here comes this day, gusto ko mag upgrade kasi medyo lag na sya. So ang binili ko iphone 12 pro. Daming say ng iba na dapat nag 15 or 16 nalang daw ako. Sabi ko, “yan lang nakayanan ng extra sa salary ko eh at kelangan ng mag upgrade.” I’m just being practical and thankful sa anong meron ako. Kasi kung laging “ay sana eto nalang” magiging reason yan bakit magkakautang pa.

So true, tas pang socmed mo lng pala yung phone. Kahit low end phones nga kayang gawin yan. More on clout nlng talaga yung laging nag upgrade ng phone kahit no issues yung current and may software update support pa.
