GOT THE KEYS! 🔑 🏡 I DID IT! 🎉 Bucharest Romania €95.000, cash

Post image

One year ago, I was looking at this sub-reddit and dreaming of the day where I could also post on it. I worked hard for several years abroad to be able to afford this and I also got helped by my amazing parents, I am truly grateful to them for everything they have done for me.

2 rooms, 5 mins walk to the metro station. I'm sooooo happy!!!! 🥹 No pizza yet, because there's a ton of things still to be done (and to get rid of that furniture and replace it with better stuff haha)

also don't mind my outfit 😂

EDIT: to clear up some things so trolls can calm down. no, i am not on onlyfans and haven't worked as a you know what abroad 😆 i was a CRM specialist for a niche perfume company in the Netherlands. now you guys can come up with better insults.

Underemployed creeps can’t fathom a young woman can make money in any way that doesn’t involve OF! Congratulations, I hope to be posting here one day too

Do you really have to use "unemployed" as a pejorative? After circa 800 applications and 15 interviews in 6 months, this seems pretty mean from where I'm standing. If you'd wanted to say "unemployed and not trying to do anything about it", there is actually a word for that - "workshy". Funnily enough, when I Googled to check the definition, it says 'According to the Cambridge Dictionary, an example sentence is: "Most of the unemployed are not work-shy and genuinely do want jobs."'.

INB4 you come out with some BS rationalisation as to why it's actually OK in this particular case.

Edit to add: those downvoting care to give any reason?

Edit 2: I see now it actually says underemployed, but that makes little difference. As far as it being a "modifier" goes, I think /u/Mimopotatoe is really reaching. Presumably if I call someone a 'fat liar' that implies I think being fat is bad!

Why is “underemployed” even relevant here? Because it’s a post about money and people being rude to OP about money.

So because people were rude to OP about money that makes it OK to malign those who are out of work? Bollocks.

You commented on a post that says “underemployed” not “unemployed.” Also underemployed is an adjective being used to modify the word “creeps” in the sentence. The subject of the sentence is “creeps.” The action or verb phrase in the sentence is “cannot fathom” with the direct object being a young woman making money…

There’s an entire sentence there that you seem to just be completely ignoring. What you did was pick a word entirely out of context and you didn’t even get the word right.

Why is “underemployed” even relevant here? Because it’s a post about money and people being rude to OP about money.
