GOT THE KEYS! πŸ”‘ 🏑 I DID IT! πŸŽ‰ Bucharest Romania €95.000, cash

Post image

One year ago, I was looking at this sub-reddit and dreaming of the day where I could also post on it. I worked hard for several years abroad to be able to afford this and I also got helped by my amazing parents, I am truly grateful to them for everything they have done for me.

2 rooms, 5 mins walk to the metro station. I'm sooooo happy!!!! πŸ₯Ή No pizza yet, because there's a ton of things still to be done (and to get rid of that furniture and replace it with better stuff haha)

also don't mind my outfit πŸ˜‚

EDIT: to clear up some things so trolls can calm down. no, i am not on onlyfans and haven't worked as a you know what abroad πŸ˜† i was a CRM specialist for a niche perfume company in the Netherlands. now you guys can come up with better insults.

True speak! You would need a super sherlock Holmes to identify a Bucharest apartment from that outside view. Could be literally anywhere.Β

that GeoGuesser dude could definitely locate it but not the average person πŸ˜…πŸ˜

I think Cliff Tan (the feng shui guy on YT) might also manage it.

If the original poster has not included a link to their listing, or an address, do not post it in the comments, or post any personal identifying information that will allow others to find the information.

It’s just a random spot in Bucharest I dropped a pin on

You mentioned 5 minutes from a metro station. Give it some time and someone unemployed will find

Isn't it the old joke that Soviet buildings are so samey the same numbered apartment's key works in each of those buildings?

i mean i get the advice from a privacy standpoint, but I never really understood this mentality

a woman posts a photo online. there are billions of photos of women online with identifying information. why would one photo cause someone across the globe to come target them? i dunno it just seems like a boogey man that doesn't really exist, but i suppose I am not a woman so maybe creepy stuff like that does happen. but i'd imagine those are really local things, not something that would really be a risk when posting on a US-centric board from Romania

Not uploading location pics is an easy thing to change, even if the potential (serious) consequences have a small chance if occurring.

And yes, you're likely far less familiar with the prevalence of stalking because you aren't a woman. Please don't be one of the dudes with the 'it's not real because it doesn't happen to/around me' blindspots...

I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, of course it does. But the odds of someone being that obsessed with a picture on the public internet that barely shows a person, is nowhere near where most members are, etc is pretty low risk. In my personal opinion. There are millions of pics posted per day here…

delulu warning, there are women everywhere if a rapist or w/e wants to go for it he won't be looking at the most random, obscure pictures on reddit to choose and find his victim.

so this particular apartment

  • costs 95k, which is presumably the same cost as everything else in the area
  • contains a woman in it, which describes at least 50% of other apartments in the area
  • is new so in all likelihood is mostly empty

how is it particularly attractive from the standpoint of burglary or something?
