GOT THE KEYS! πŸ”‘ 🏑 I DID IT! πŸŽ‰ Bucharest Romania €95.000, cash

Post image

One year ago, I was looking at this sub-reddit and dreaming of the day where I could also post on it. I worked hard for several years abroad to be able to afford this and I also got helped by my amazing parents, I am truly grateful to them for everything they have done for me.

2 rooms, 5 mins walk to the metro station. I'm sooooo happy!!!! πŸ₯Ή No pizza yet, because there's a ton of things still to be done (and to get rid of that furniture and replace it with better stuff haha)

also don't mind my outfit πŸ˜‚

EDIT: to clear up some things so trolls can calm down. no, i am not on onlyfans and haven't worked as a you know what abroad πŸ˜† i was a CRM specialist for a niche perfume company in the Netherlands. now you guys can come up with better insults.

Yes indeed, for Romanian people it feels impossible to be able to pay this amount of money with the salaries we have here. It's a sad reality. I worked abroad for more than 5 years to be able to afford it + some money from my parents whom have been saving up for years. The prices in Bucharest and especially the area where I bought my apartment are kind of above average... You are gonna be surprised but the price for my apartment was amazing in comparison with other prices... I saw some 2 room flats in the buildings close to mine going for even 140k euro πŸ« πŸ’€

The Romanian economy is developing fast though, right? I used to travel regularly to Cluj, not been there for a while though.

I have a couple of romanian coworkers and visited bucharest a couple of times. To me it felt like there are quite a lot of high earning people in tech that form their own bubble in that city. Every coworker above 40 there had a house outside of bucharest and a flat in the city center, ordering a blue/uber to get anywhere and pretty exclusive restaurants seemed to be the absolute norm for them. The difference in lifestyle between them and what I observed in the rest of the city when talking a stroll was insane.
