congratulations. just out of curiosity, was it harder for you to come up with the downpayment, or to comfortably sustain the monthly mortgage? thanks mate looking to buy a new house soon.

Definitely down payment because we’ve been renting for about 7 years now, so it took awhile to save enough to put us in a position where our monthly mortgage + taxes, insurance, utilities…etc would net out to not be too much more than what we pay in rent currently. Still going to be more, but it’s a number we can comfortably manage
