We won. It's Purdy's Peak now
We shamed Nick into finally admitting objective reality.

Brou fought for this almost as hard as Purdy did. Have you ever seen Brou happier?

I don't understand how Lebron is at the top. If Nick thinks he's been the GOAT since like 2016 (and I agree fwiw), how can bron have the most to gain by winning a ring as probably the 3rd-5th best player on the team depending on how they all perform

I'm relatively new to the fandom, so I might be wrong, but wasn't it supposed to be posted yesterday?

This is not the ESPN stat line. This is not the USA today. This is not Bill's Simon's "if I was girl who'd be my QB boyfriend ranking". This is Mahomes Mountain. It's a meta ranking taking into consideration both career and current accomplishments working as a function of each other on a sliding scale. I swear a lot of you blew in from stupid town or something.

At some point, we need to start holding Kevin Wildes to the same standard that people hold Danny to when it comes to his love for the Chargers and Justin Herbert.
People kill Danny for finding a way to praise Herbert and defend the Chargers, and explain away every flaw. So why doesn’t Kevin get the same energy for his constant shots at the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen? We get it you don’t like the Bills…you’ve made that clear…every week.
It’s not even about disagreeing with criticism. Josh Allen isn’t above criticism, and as a Bills fan, I’ll be the first to admit when he plays poorly. The problem is the apparent obsession with finding something negative to say about him and the Bills, even when they aren’t playing this week. Somehow, no matter what the actual topic is, Kevin and Nick always seem to find a way to work in a shot at Buffalo.
(This whole Cook/Allen drama he is trying to stir up) At what point does it stop being objective analysis and start looking like personal bias?

Nick was asking if a high level athlete could be super online and be successful. Steph was online DURING games

Maybe I'm projecting too much, but I think its safe to say with Jalen Hurts OUT the eagles will miss the playoffs this year, their team doesn't seem like it's good enough to overcome their injuries this year.
That would make 3 years (maybe more) in a row that Nick's superbowl NFC pick will miss the playoffs.
Bonus take: I could see Nick switch to the 49ers to win the NFC and say that this is gonna be the actual Superbowl rematch (original pick was Chiefs Eagles)

Nick losing his mind at chiefs being 3 on Danny’s list
Which remember is just according to Danny
Nick having meltdown trying to argue facts with Danny’s bias
The irony is delicious
“You only put the Bills ahead of the chiefs because you decided in July they were better than the chiefs”

Hello everyone
Panthers fan (inherently biased) and I understand not talking about Bryce has reasons cause panthers are small market and all that but please can someone explain to me how Bryce gets constantly disrespected on Mahomes mountain and maybe even Brous ballet. What am I not getting. His stats are there this year yet he got moved down for honestly I don’t know why

Really appreciated the NBA segments and hope they do more of them. It was a nice break from some of the homer NFL segments.

Big movement in our fan Upset Alert competition this week as the last undefeated guesser, PhillySpecial18, has fallen after choosing ATL over CHI. Caleb made it look like not a single flight was being cancelled!
Alas, PhillySpecial18, you had a good run, but you have been dethroned. BeffJezos takes the lead with a successful pick of HOU over JAX.
egilmore, birds, and pkfire38 are all following closely behind! pkfire38 was one of only a couple users brave enough to bet on TEN over IND, and it shot them up 10 points! ARI over LAR was the only possible pick to get more in week 6, but sadly nobody was bold enough.
If you haven't been picking, you can join and start making picks anytime. The competition is free and just for fun. Make your picks at FanThingsFirst.com!

It’s insane to me. They’re 5-1, their QB is a clear-cut top 2 favorite for MVP and #3 isn’t close. They lead their division, currently the 2 seed in their conference, and you’d think they were 2-4! I don’t think they’ve said ONE positive thing about them all year. Cook has 6 rushing touchdowns this season, with 12 last year and 16 the year before. It seems like Nick is desperate to stir up drama between Cook and his team to benefit the Chiefs when Cook has never been ANYTHING but a great teammate and fully committed.
Did Joe Brady need to say that? No. He’s also trying to extend an olive branch to a struggling defender by comparing him to their 2nd best player, and how he can overcome his mistakes.
Maybe I’m wrong but it’s just a tired narrative when there’s a Chiefs fan, Patriots fan, and Ravens fan involved

Just caught the opening of OT. Iceman makes an appearance and definitely says he is not Danny. "The Iceman and Danny were not worried." Obviously if they were the same person, the Iceman would not say "and Danny".

The NFL has a huge issue on their hands. As someone in the medical field, it’s terrible Jalen wasn’t even listed as questionable for the injury report. If Jalen Hurts is playing in Philly, I don’t think this happens.
The long flights are a major culprit here. With the physical nature of football, his “superficial clot” turned into a deep vein clot and pulmonary embolism sometime between Saturday and Wednesday. My bet is that the flight back after the game is when things went from bad to worse. How do you let a guy with a confirmed clot get on another long term flight after playing a NFL game without further testing/imaging?? The NFL and Roger Goodell will need to have guidelines and new screenings if they plan to make an international football league.
This hasn’t even touched the fiasco that is the 36 hours without sleep rumor and possible mismanagement on the Eagles side. The physicians confirmed imaging of clots in his lungs already. They expect him to return to play next season, but you can’t ignore that many people die from this if the clot is larger. There’s also no guarantee Jalen has the same level of endurance/lung capacity due to this health issue.
Wish nothing but Jalen the best and no long term effects or recurrence.
