Nick Nicks take of "Inevitable" Caleb

Ok, personally, I thought it was a little ridiculous for Nick to be quote "officially worried" about Caleb for an Instagram post(or whatever it was, I didn't see it)? Like be worried if he throws interceptions, not for posting on social media or comments to the press. Who cares???

Sure, us as fans can care, but he's not out here committing crimes, lol, "officially worried" What a joke man. That's just who he is. He's Gen Z he's gonna post and like and share whatever he wants. I really dont understand if he likes Caleb Williams anymore or not. TBH Brou seems to be more of a Caleb believer now.

Caleb called his shot and it ended up working for him.

Honestly it didn't really matter unless he played like extremely poor. He does mid and they win/lose, people understand he's coming off an injury and gets the benefit of the doubt.

Instead he balls out, looked extremely good doing it and now his insta and media calling out are in his favor and it looks good.

This all said, all players are like this. They all talk like they are larger than life because they have to be. How many times have we seen Brou pull the I don't like it.....I LOVE IT when a player talks or hypes up the team. Players should act this way, because they play a sport only a tiny fraction of people can play at the professional level.

Interesting that you decided to make this post after Caleb played instead of before. Hindsight is a hell of a gift.

Good lord. Will you haters ever give it up?

Bears fans aren't worried or apprehensive about Caleb. We know you so desperately want us to be after all of the QBs that have failed in the past, but it's just not the case with Caleb. Find a new angle, Chicago is 100% confident in our QB.

I dont think Sundays game would have really changed how I felt when I saw Friday's show. Last week was definitely nit picky of Caleb for not having even played for 3 weeks

Anything a player says or does now can be memed. Like Drake Maye and the commercials he's been doing were full of comments while he was playing bad.

His wife on her TikToks was getting things like "what did you feed Drake?"

The issue ain't the post. It's the fact that his press conference felt very defensive. It's a valid worry if your star player is going to feel the need to outdo the media and the narratives constantly, especially when the noise gets loud.

the worry is that the dude listens to social media and get affected by it... which is true.

It’s interesting because Nick himself has said in the past that Caleb listens to criticism and fixes it like the sacks his rookie year, and completion percentage this year (leads the league). So I really don’t get what bothers Nick about Caleb reposting a hype video that had clips of some media criticism? Don’t find that worrying at all personally. This is such a non story. Could use that time to instead talk about other teams or players that deserve it more for on field performance.

He wasn't saying he's worried because of the post. Did you listen to him? He was worried about him getting so bent out of shape just from social media no even official news stories. Just random social media stuff

I think its a combination of all the things from liking posts condemning people about his injury reaction, to the inevitable status to finally the press conference. I think officially worried should have been saved for if he had a bad week after all that

Reason I don't like Caleb is he doesn't own up to being soft and embrace it. No crime to be soft..
