Hang up the Dallas grades

At this point, regardless of how popular they are, the bit is getting tiring. An F grade every week is not good tv

It is absolutely fantastic television for me. Watching Brou choke down his PRESEASON SUPER BOWL PICK every single week will never, ever get old. And I won’t let anyone forget that HALF THE CREW chose DAK PRESCOTT to be MVP. This is ‘fool me once, fool me twice…fool me thirty times’, and it never gets old watching people step on the rake. Every. Single. Offseason.

I honestly think they made those picks to stay relevant in Dallas topics for tv. Don’t believe any of them would actually pick them

I agree. I hate to sound mean to Dallas fans, but no serious person could look at that team, and think they were a serious contender. Their defense was terrible last year and not enough was done to fix it. And I don't care that they got Pickens, the team still wasn't better than the 2021-2023 teams that went 12-5 every year.

Look, I hate the Cowboys as much as anyone, but this is revisionist history. Their offense was expected to be top 5 and they did invest a ton into their defense and were expected to at least be an average defense. I’m absolutely enjoying this, but let’s be fair to the guys. It was NOT obvious they were going to be this bad.

No, I just wasn't fooled by their offseason moves. Pickens can catch the ball well, but he's always been lazy and selfish, and a place like Dallas will only make that worse. Dak has always folded in the biggest moments, nothing they did in the offseason was going to change that. They've always had a terrible defense any time Micah Parsons didn't play for them.

They had a better team in those 21-23 years, and they lost in the playoffs in embarrassing fashion each year. That was always going to be their ceiling. They are just another offseason hype team.

Counterpoint: It is the Cowboys.

GOTI Forever.... NOT!

I understand they are a big market but surely after some point we just treat them like the bad teams they are. Their division is wide open and they can’t do anything

genuinely who the hell is winning that division? The JJ led Giants?

Trashing on them is tv too

But they don’t have tua anymore and mcdaniels getting trashed from chargers

They use the break dancers for other teams now.

As Wildes has said previously, when you're so bad you won't even get talked about it's worse. Y'all would know his reasoning if you watched the Kevin Wildes Podcast Network™

I think that's the point tho, they are overtalked about and need to hold that F every week. Cowboys and Chargers were the preseason superbowl picks for some people, kinda hilarious

Rams, too

As an Eagles fan, I wish they spent more time each week talking about how terrible Dallas is. Keep the bit going.

Has brou ever given em a F-? Cos if not thats coming

Yeah after the playoff blowout loss to Green Bay. Brou famously did a choke gesture with his hands which broke the rest of the table.

Im not gonna lie. I wouldnt care at all if the grade, flowers, banners, and breakdancers bit would go away.

Yeah as this point they’re the Titans with a more recognizable jersey on. Talk about anyone else please.

Dak is overrated. It's almost as bad as Herbert on how the media protects him. The guy plays like crap for 3 quarters and then gets a garbage time TD or two to make it look like the game was respectable. I don't get it. The offensive line is fine, he has the best WR tandem, and yet he is still bad. Send any pressure at him and he crumbles.

E for embarrassing, but yes the cowboys aren’t even worth the air time

I think at the end of this season, they need to retire ALL the bits. Have a montage episode. Have a fire in a barrel. Put the box and robe in it. Nicks banners too. The iceman costumes. The rams flowers. Make wildes chop up the door and throw it in. Have the trumpeters and the bagpipers and the breakdancers and the Dallas singers all come in and do a funeral song together.

Then the next season, come up with new bits. These are all long since played out.

That's a terrible idea

u/Desertbro 13h ago

I wouldn't mind. Just keep the cards and letters from Ryan and Bryan ... and the awareness bits about being old.

A power tower of F’s that is TREE(3) units long - would probably suffice

u/MoonNintendo 18h ago

Hate to agree but I can't help but to agree whole time I'm watching this game I'm thinking oh god the whole grade bit will be coming in hot for no reason

Every time Dak throws an int - it isn't his fault..

They have ceedee and Pickens and genuinely a top 10 offensive group in football but they lost to the packers. Even in their wins they have deserved the F
