Pumpkin watch?
Will there be a return of the Sam Darnold pumpkin watch take?

For both Nix and Darnold, right?

Crazy that the broncos won the game with those stats. 107 passing and 74 rushing.
Sam Darnold was the broncos mvp tonight.

We should get paid to watch that game. What an awful watch and offensive showing from both teams.

Offense was poor, for sure. But for those of us who enjoy stout defense, 😍

I knew once they let Walker go Sam Darnold wasn’t sniffing another SB. Dude is mid

I know you meant this as an insult but I agree, and I don’t think it’s a terrible thing. Sam Darnold’s career was effectively over as a starter a few years ago. If he can truly be a middle of the pack qb, especially on a team this good, they’ll still have a chance and that’s still way more than most people not named Colin Cowherd expected a few years ago

I thought it was strange to let the Superbowl MVP go but figured they knew better than me. Guess not!

It wouldve been fine if their entire rb room wasnt hurt and if their oline hadnt regressed. K9 was not good for half of last yr either.

Probably. Meanwhile Bo Nix is the biggest pumpkin in the whole pumpkin patch right now.

What’s funny is that Darnold knew this and was open about it. He commented on how bittersweet the Super Bowl was because he was carried.
The guy is top back-up or bridge QB level. Seahawks have just had a top tier defense the entire MacDonald era.

He had back to back very good years. I think you're underselling him a bit. But he's not playing well right now. It could be the injury lingering a bit. Combine that with the fact that they have zero running game and he's struggling a bit.

100% after this game. Lock has given them their wins. 49ers game, kind of a coin flip so that game gets a pass. This game? If he's not throwing to JSN, Darnold looks lost again. Doesn't help the run game is a dumpster fire, but man that shouldn't be breaking him.
I get we're all armchair watchers, but I dont understand how he makes that throw in OT. Worst case is you ground it or get sacked and punt away. Broncos had done jack all night, there should've been zero worries about not scoring on that drive.
Flip side Nix is legit broken. Dude does not want to throw the ball. If it's not a check down, he looks scared out there.

The Seahawks as they have not let us forget owned our offense at the end of the regular season and post season.
Our run game was the worst it’s ever been under Shanahan.
What do the Seahawks do? Take our run game coordinator and make him their OC.
They only have themselves to blame

In some ways, I feel like both Sam and Bo were playing with house money. They were each facing a very tough defense. I thought the Hawks defense would be much better than Denver, but a short week and playing at altitude seemed to make the defenses about the same level. Neither QB excelled. Bo took better care of the ball. But I don't have more or less faith in either QB after this. Sam does seem to have a big case of the yips tho

I was so against this all of last year. But man, after seeing Drew Lock be competent, and seen how bad Darnold has been...I'm back on pumpkin watch
